Killing Spree

The woman stepped off the bus in fear. She'd just gotten home from work. Because of the three-day sales at the mall where she worked, she had to work extra hours. The woman leaves for work at one o'clock in the morning. The woman entered her rented house swiftly. She went to the kitchen right away to fetch some water. She was drinking when she heard a noise from inside the room. The woman quickly set the glass on the table and entered the room.

"Tanya?" she called to her flatmate.

The woman heard a peculiar noise, followed by a noise that seemed to have fallen. She was shocked and looked around. She was tense. The woman carefully opened the door, grasping the knob.

"T-Tanya?" she called again.

The light in the room is blinking. She went straight for her friend, who was lying on the bed. She smiled before turning to face the lamp.

"I told you to change the light bulb in your room," she says.
