Vincent felt uneasy. After the talk he had with Avalyn, he can't help but feel scared for her.
Vincent was sure that Ava can handle herself. He was aware of the things that she can do. It was no secret among them. Yet, the person who sought her and wanted her dead was no ordinary being. Vincent finds it right to feel a little scared knowing that this certain being was after Ava and worse comes to worst, none of them might be able to help her.
"Focus, Vincent," he coaxed himself. He can't let himself think too much about it right now, else, he would definitely lose all his concentration and the plan can go south. Now, he can't afford for that to happen.
Taking a deep breath, Vincent put on his stoic expression and waited patiently for Marcus Zephanie to make it to the podium facing the small crowd that was gathered in an enclosed room in the same building where the grand hall was.
