Chapter 7.1 - Long overdue

We left the bowling alley around 10 in the night, we walked out together, before we could get to our cars, "Yo! Bitch slap, why don't you give me that blonde you got holding your arm, you already got the brunette, let her come feel what real men do to a fine ass bitch" the guy from earlier shouted,

he and 5 of his friends walked up to us all gangster like, "Did this limp-dick inbred just call Erica a whore?" i asked no one in particular as i turned to them, "What you call me boy?" he said and took a step forward toward me,

"Better watch your mouth, who you think your talking to huh?" his friend standing beside him said, "Oh? Did i stutter, i'm talking to you and your boyfriends, what did you think, just because there's five of you your untouchable?" i said and got up right infront of the tall one leading them,

"Tough guy huh? You wanna go tough guy?" the loud mouth leader pushed me, "Hey i think that's enough" jackson said as he tried to de-escalate the situation, "Yeah Jake there's no need to antagonise them" Scott added, "Nah there's no going back now, there's only the hospital" as soon as i said that i moved.

I grabbed the loud mouth wannabe gangster, leader of the group, he was a few inches taller than me and Danny, i grabbed him by the jacket and pulled him in and delivered a headbutt,

*CRUNCH**SPLISH* "AARG..." i broke his nose, blood sprayed and he brought his hands up to cover his bloody face, before he could scream louder i threw a left uppercut, knocking him out, he fell with a *BALUMP* hard on the pavement, a few of his teeth falling beside him, *GASP* i heard the girls take a gasp in shock from behind me.

Danny backed me up and shoved the other loud mouth, causing him to bump into another guy standing behind them, the girls moved back behind Jackson and Scott,

Erica didn't hide behind with them, instead she moved fast and came face to face with another guy with long blonde hair, without the guy being able to react she socked him on the left side of his jaw,

*CRUNCK* the guy just dropped like a mannequin being pushed over, his jaw looked out off place like it was dislocated, "Erica! C-come back!" Allison called, Erica's eyes glowed golden, as she turned to me,

i flashed my scarlet red eyes at her when we locked eyes, causing her to stiffen up abit, her eyes flickered off, luckily no one saw it, she moved back to the others who looked at her with both awe and bewilderment,

i turned just in time when one of the guys who was standing farther back moved forward and punched Danny in the gut,

i pulled Danny back and spartan front kicked the guy hard, making him fly back a metre and landing hard on his back,

the guy started throwing up immediately and holding his stomach, the second loud mouth and the guy he had bumped into after Danny shoved them, stood up, one of them pulled out a knife and moved towards us,

he stabbed forward towards me thinking i was distracted since i had my back to him, i turned grabbed his hand and twisted around performing an Attitude Adjustment John Cena style,

planting the would be back stabber hard on the pavement, he wheezed and tried to catch his breath and get up, but i twisted his arm that was still holding on to the knife, *STIKCH* "AAAAAAIAIIII" his elbow got dislocated at the joint causing him to scream like a pig,

Allison and Lydia covered their mouths with their hands to smother their screams, Erica looked like she wanted to rip someones throat out, Jackson looked like he was shitting himself while Scott looked shocked.

I left the guy holding his arm and crying and moved towards the second loud mouth who was standing not far away with a look of being scared out of his pants, he turned and ran like his life depended on it while piss stained the path he was running on,

myself and Danny just stood there next to each other and watched him run away, "Thanks for the backup Danny, i appreciate it" i said and patted his shoulder, he was holding his stomach, it would probably bruise abit, but nothing more, "What are friends for right?" He replied with a chuckle,

"Let this be a lesson guys" i said and turned to face Scott and Jackson, "Never let any other man disrespect your girlfriend, be a man and stand up for her" i said and walked over to Erica who was smiling,

"You just called me your girl, hehe Allison is jealous and abit excited, hehe why is she feeling excited?" Erica whispered as she hugged me,

"Haha maybe the violence turned her on?" i asked with a smirk, which made her punch my abs, "I like her, don't say that about her" Erica said defensively,

i just nodded and led her to my car, "You feeling ok Danny?" i asked to which he gave me a thumbs up before getting in the car and sitting down,

"Well that was... voilent, and surprisingly kinda hot" Lydia said while she and the others walked up, "I already called the sheriffs department they're a minute away" Scott said,

"You know you could've solved this without violence right? And don't you think that was too.... bloody, i mean you could've killed someone" he added, making me look at him like he was an idiot.

"Scott shut up, the guy was looking for trouble whether we wanted it or not, Jake was just standing up for Erica" Allison defended me,

while she also looked at Scott like he was an idiot, "Hey Danny are you ok? You took a good punch back there?" Lydia asked concern in her voice, "I'm fine, just got the wind knocked out of me" He replied smiling,

"The hell were you guys thinking, there were 5 of them" Jackson said angrily, "Oh keep quiet Jackson, you didn't do anything" Allison huffed at Jackson and gave him a glare, "Ok guys calm down, let's just quietly wait for the sheriff's deputies and ambulances" i said and sat on my cars bonnet and patiently waited as the others kept talking about the fight.

(Deputy Jordan Parrish POV)

We got a call earlier about a fight in the carpark of the bowling alley a block away from the station, my self and 3 other deputies were on call since the sheriff and the rest were out patrolling for the mountain lion that was attacking residents.

When we arrived on scene, it was bloody, not murder bloody, but bloody, one kid had a possible broken or dislocated arm, he was crying and cradleing it on the ground,

another not far from him was hugging his stomach like he was in pain, i could see a pile of vomit next to him, the other two were abit farther away from them,

one was face down unconcious with blood spilling from his nose and mouth, he looked like he got the worst of it, and the last guy was laying flat on his stomach, his jaw looked out of place, and he wasn't concious either.

Not Far away from them, were a group of teens, around 16 or 17 years of age from what i could tell, the other deputies went to check on the ones that were hurt while i walked over to the teens,

from what i could tell from seeing them, the short spikey haired handsome one standing with the strawberry blonde looked anxious, so did she the strawberry blonde,

the fringe cut black haired teen with a crooked jaw was nervous and kept glancing to the handsome muscular kid with a manbun sitting on the grey and black camaro, if i remember correctly,

i interviewed that guy yesterday when he stopped a girl from being molested, inside said camaro was a olive skin toned well built kid, and a beautiful curly blonde haired girl, and standing infront of the of the camaro was a beautiful brunette girl, who looked worried and kept looking at the muscular kid.

"Deputy Parrish good to see you again" said the muscular kid with a smile, "*Sigh* Your Jacob if i remember correctly, so any of you guys wanna tell me what happened here?" i said and took my note book out.

(Deputy Parrish POV End)

(MC POV)

We were taken to the sheriff's department station for furthur questioning, afterwards Danny, Allison, Lydia and Scott's parents were called, they were on their way to pick them up, Jackson was fine cause he could drive himself back home,

it seemed the guys i beat up were juvenile offenders, they had been in trouble a few times for assault, sexual harassment, breaking and entering and intimidation, they thought of themselves as gangsters in their little town,

i wasn't charged with anything since i was a minor, the guys on the other hand were charged with intimidation and carrying concealed weapons, they all had knives stashed away on them.

"I called your brother to let him know you were here Jacob" Deputy Parrish said in a concerned voice, "You called Derek?" i asked and raised an eyebrow,

"Yeah, he said he was on the way, he sounded kind of surprised and excited" deputy Parrish gave me a look of confusion, "Ah haha well he hasn't seen me since i was six, so it is a special occassion you know" i said with a smile,

i wasn't planning on meeting Derek yet but, when life throws you curve balls you just swing for it and hope for the best.

About 8 to 10 minutes later everyones parents got here, deputy Parrish explained to them what happened and said we were free to go,

Danny's mom came with his cousin who was a year older than us, to say i was not attracted to her would be lying, she looked exactly like Victoria Justice, Erica who was beside me elbowed my side waking me up from my shock,

"You want her too? Don't try to lie, i can feel your intentions, she's already got you hooked" Erica said while rolling her eyes at me in annoyance,

"Um, it's just, she reminds me of someone" i said, "Hey guys, this is my mom, and my cousin, Sarah" Danny introduced, i shook Danny's mom's hand and we exchanged pleasantries, but when Sarah and i shook hands an electric jolt went through both of us.

I looked at Sarah with my mouth agape as i didn't understand what had just happened, she on the other hand looked shocked,

we stood holding hands and looking at each other not saying anything for 30 seconds before Danny's mom woke us up, "Um you kids ok?" she asked with a coy look at Sarah and than me,

"Ah-um yeah, it's nice to meet you Jake" Sarah responded before releasing my hand, we spent a few minutes talking to them and walked out of the station, Danny went with his mom and cousin, while Erica and i headed back to the station to wait for Derek, Sarah kept looking back at me as they walked away, i also did the same, whenever we locked eyes she'd hurriedly look away.

"Sooo? You gonna tell me what that was with you and Sarah?" Erica asked me while we walked closer to the stations front door, "I don't know, i've never heard of anything like what just happened to me and Sarah,

we'll need to find someone who knows more about the supernatural world to know for sure" i contemplated, "Well whatever it was, it felt like you were infatuated with her, she also felt the sameway towards you, like what the hell? you both just met, how could you feel like that towards each other?" Erica said with an irritated voice causing me to laugh.

Allison left with her dad next, but not before telling me we'd talk tomorrow, probably about the kiss, Lydia, Jackson and Scott left after them,

only Scott came over to say goodbye before he and his mom left, he was probably gonna get an earful just like the others when they got home, soon it just Erica, myself, Deputy Parrish and a few other deputies left in the station, we passed the time talking and getting to know the future hellhound,

surprisingly he was 20 years old, and had recently moved to town from L.A, we talked for about 40 minutes before the slam of a car door and the sound of someones heavy footfalls we're heard as said person ran towards the station doors.

The doors of the station were suddenly flung open as a young good-looking man wearing a black leather jacket, and jeans with black boots came barging in,

he had abit of pale skin, spikey short hair trimmed on the sides, a stubble and hazel colored eyes, "Where is he?" he asked looking at the receptionist, a female african american deputy, "Who?" she asked looking confused at the guy,

"Jacob Hale! where is he?" the guy asked hurriedly, the deputy looked over to me and Erica and pointed, causing the guy to turn our way, the minute he saw me, he froze, stood in place with his face looking like he got electrocuted, "Long time no see Derek" i said with a chuckle as Erica and i got up and walked over to him.
