Sasha Blaze

Leo was sitting down, eating a burger, while Grey had a plate of chips. During the time, Grey had told Leo he was had an ice ability, and his family was a well to do buisness family.

Leo was munching on his burger, when he noticed Grey staring at him.

"What?" Leo asked

"Well, there seem to be strands of purple hair within your black hair."

"Huh, Purple?"

Leo knew that his hair was purely black, so he took out his smartphone, and turned on the selfie camera. It was true, they were purple strands of hair within his hair.

"I could swear that my hair was purely black." Leo said as he pulled out a strand of purple hair and observed it.

"Well it could be because of your awakened ability." Grey said.

"Can awakening change hair color?" Leo asked.

"You mean you don't know that, when you awaking your genes, you can have alteration to your physical body?"

"Nope, this is the first time I am hearing of it, to be sincere." Leo answered, before taking another bite of his burger.

"Just how much do you know about Gene awakening?" Grey asked Leo.

"Not much really, I just know that you awaking your latent Meta genes that give you an ability."

"So you just have the basic knowledge, but we were given an assignment, to learn about Meta genetics." Grey said.

"Yeah, I haven't gotten around to do it." Leo responded.

"Sigh, well since that's the case, let me educate you. So during a certain period, a long time ago, terrors began appearing around the world, that marked the beginning of it all. Humans were on the losing side against terror, at first weapons of humanity had held effective against low basic terrors, but as higher ranked terrors began to appear, humanity was pushed to the corner. It was many years after the war began, that a certain scientist awakened his latent Meta genes, it was possible because, the coming of terror had caused a certain energy to sprout, and that is what is known as Meta. With the Advent of Meta abilities, humanity had a fighting chance. Now Awakened are the protectors of humanity, though not everyone can awaking. Lastly, Awakened are ranked as so, one star all the way to five stars, though there is no particular way to know the power level, a rough method was initiated. Above the fifth star is the Arcane Meta, those are the power houses of humanity." Grey finished his small explanation, and then continued eating.

"Wait, then what rank are we in?" Leo asked Grey.

"We are all one star and we will probably be one star till we graduate."

The disscusion took of in another direction, they rounded up their lunch.

Though what bothered Leo was the fact that he had not awakened in real sense, could it be that the system was what was changing his hair.

After lunch, they had combat classes. The combat class was taught by Mr. Ken, the instructor from the virtual pod test, so there was no need for introduction.

"All of you are going to have a sparing partner, we have randomly shuffled all 100 of you."

Mr. Ken went to the electronic board and turned it on. The board lit up, showing the images of all the students and who the had been partnered with.

Leo looked at who his partner is, and then he began looking around to find her. Soon his eyes landed on a girl, who had leaf green hair and eyes like emeralds. She had a cute face, she wasn't a world toppling beauty, but she was in a league of her own.

Grey came to Leo's side and followed his line of sight.

"Damn, it seems you have a knack for attracting people from powerful genetics families." Gray said with a chuckle.

"What do you mean?" Leo asked.

"That lady is from the family, Blaze. Another top Gene family. The specialize in flame ability, she is Sasha Blaze, a once in a hundred years genius, that possesses a unique green colored flame." Grey explained to Leo.

"How do you know all this things." Leo asked with a questioning gaze.

"I said my family is a business family, so they gather a lot of information, in other to give customers the best."

Grey's explanation made sense so Leo let it be.

When Leo turned back, he saw Sasha approaching him, as soon as she got to him, Leo decided to take the initiative to introduce himself.

"I am Leo, nice to meet you."

"Sasha."

Leo quickly used eyes of discernment on the girl, she had a green aura, meaning she had no feelings towards him.

Grey had already left to go meet with his partner.

When Leo and Sasha got to one of the marked squares within the room, Sasha stoped Leo and spoke.

"Before we start, let me warn you, stay away from Luke, he is more trouble than you can handle."

Leo smiled as soon as he heard what Sasha said. There was no way that could happen, Luke had killing intent against Leo, so there was no where the would not clash one day.

"You don't have to worry about me, Luke is an obstacle that I have to over come."

Sasha didn't say anything more, she simply entered her combat stance, she had advised Leo out of Goodwill, so if he took it or not was not her business. More also she hated meddling in people's affairs, she believed if you seek out trouble, you should be capable of seeing it through till the end.

The class used one hour to spar with their partners. Mr. Ken was walking around, giving tips from time to time.

The combat class came to an end, and the next class was weapons class, though leo skipped it to go practice his basic combat technique. His ability type was a weapon type or something like that, so he was allowed to skip weapons class.
