Chapter-3: Meeting.

That man saw someone whose way of sitting was different and around him, a small girl was running and behind her a lady was also running. He was staring at him and the rest of his members were ready to step out from the car but he told everyone to stop and stay inside. … They all wondered what happened to him but when he pointed his finger towards that man, they also stared at him.

[Car horn sound]

[Ice cream van music]

That little girl Ember heard that music and all the small children ran towards the van for an ice cream. "June, I want an ice cream."

She took her for an ice cream but those scoundrels were still there and one of them thought that he should go out and check him but again that old man stopped him. All of them were wondering what was going on. When all the scoundrels shouted at him, he told them that he knew who he was but he wanted to see his face also. They all were staring at him and suddenly that man started moving and all the scoundrels stared at him.

Suddenly he turned his face towards them and when they saw his face, they all got scared and that old man feared more than all of them. He forced them to drive their car and ran away from there because he was none other than James. His sharp eyes were staring at them and the way he was looking at them, it was clear that he already knew about their presence. They quickly drove their car and ran away from there but James was still staring in that direction.

Ember- "James!! What happened?"

Ember was smiling and she was holding four ice creams in her hand. When he saw her, he laughed loudly at her and moved his head left and right.

"Nothing my princess."

On other hand GK went to meet someone who knew about James. He was driving his car towards a car shop, that time he was alone and stopped his car outside the shop. [Car door opened] He stepped out and started walking inside. There were a number of people and they all were busy with their work. Some of them were changing number plates, some were cleaning cars and GK was walking towards the cabin where he was going to meet Carson, owner of that shop.

[Door open]

"Hello Carson."

Carson is the owner of that place. He was wearing black jacket and his hair was like silk and when he smiled his golden teeth used to shine.

"Welcome GK. Come… what do you want?"

GK was there to know about his friend James because he is the only one who knew about his new address. Carson laughed at him because GK is his best friend and he does not know his address.

"Don't laugh."

Carson took a pen and paper and wrote his new address on that paper.

[House no. 1279, 23$ street, second left, N.Y.]

He took that address and drove his car towards the given location but in office officers were searching about James on their database. They found his details and read everything about him. They all were impressed by his work and now they just have to wait for GK because he went to call him.

GK was driving his car and found his house. His house was normal but the house was covered with rose flowers. It also had a small garage on the left side which was closed. He knocked at the door but he got zero answer from inside. …

"I think he is not here."

He shook his head and made a call to Carson.

"He's not here. Do you know where he is?"

"GK… I don't know but today he was here and took one car from the garage."

… GK wrote something on paper and left it on the post box and after that he went from there.

At night, James came back to his house. He parked that car outside and came out from the car. He was holding Ember in his hand and she was holding different-colored balloons on her hand. Actually, she was sleeping on his hand. June was also there and she opened the door and he slowly put her on her bed and took her all the balloons. He was smiling at her and when he was removing his hand that time, she was still grabbing his clothes. … He slowly removes her and closes the door.

"June go and sleep. Good night."

"Good night sir."

June normally used to stay in the house because it was difficult to handle Ember alone so he hired June, she stayed there in his house for his help.

She went to her room and closed the door but James was still roaming around. He went out and opened that post box, there was a piece of paper. He took that paper and read it.

[Reading]

"GK"

He crushed that paper and threw it but on the other hand, GK also knew that his friend would not going to answer his letter and he would not be going to call him also. James took a chair and put his leg on the railings of the lawn and slept over there.

Next day. GK was roaming in the office because he was fired up. He wasn't able to talk to him and all the officers were scratching their heads because they still couldn't call him back. …

[Clapping sound.]

On the entrance door Martin was standing and he was giving his glittering smile. When he saw their sad and dull faces, he enjoyed it. He warned everyone and told everyone to solve the case as soon as possible otherwise he will be fired everyone.

Meanwhile all the officers requested GK for the address where James used to live. They took that address and went towards that address. Ben, Connor, Fred and Summer were going towards that address so that they could convince him. Both Ben and Connor were very angry because the attitude which he was showing them was totally different. They had read his file and it was written that James is a calm officer.

[Car is still moving]

After some time, they finally reached the address but there was no one. They thought that they should stay there and wait for him because this is their last chance to meet him and if they don't then they all will get fired. … They all start roaming outside their house and waiting for him. Summer was roaming around rose flowers, it was really beautiful. It was like someone used to take care of those flowers.

"Sir!! Look at these flowers. I think someone loves these flowers a lot."

All the other officers started laughing and told her that roses are always beautiful.

Fred was sitting on the staircase, Ben and Connor both were standing on his side. [Waiting] People were roaming on the road and they were staring at them because it was the first time, they had seen a police car standing outside the house. … Ben thought that they should go from there because people were staring at them. They quickly moved away from there but they were still there and still waiting for James.

Sun sets down and many cars start stopping outside all the houses but they are still there and waiting for him. Number of cars were stopped outside the houses and now at any moment, James is going to come there.

[Honk]

All officers stepped out from the car and they saw a big size car cross them and James was driving that car. … They all were surprised to see him and they quickly sat inside their car and followed him but they had to maintain some distance. Their hearts were beating very fast. They thought that James did not know about them but they were wrong. When James was turning his car, that time he saw them and the police car.

James stopped his car and took his one leg out from the car. They were also there and stopped their car. June was holding Ember in her hand and she went inside the house but James was still inside his car and came out from the car. … All officers were surprised because he was watching them all with his sharp eyes and he was not happy to see them over there. Summer and Fred both get scared and think that they should go but Ben and Connor want to talk to him.

James was staring at them and sat on the chair which was outside. They all slowly step towards him and stand in front of him. They all were looking at him but James was waving his hands on the rose flowers. … They don't know what to say.

"Take your seats."

There were some stools for sitting. They don't know from where to start, so Summer speaks first but James already knew that reason.

"I know why you all are here. I can't help."

When he said this, all their hopes were destroyed and they thought they had wasted their time. Connor crushed his teeth inside his mouth and Fred started moving his head like he lost everything in a poker game.
