Chapter 31.

On the way to the hospital, I rang Noah and told him to meet us at the hospital. I realised I fucked up by beating around the bush as he thought something bad had happened to Bailey and his baby so he panicked and it caused Bailey to panic as my phone was on speaker mode.

I finally convinced him to calm down when he stopped shrieking and listened, he agreed to meet us at the hospital.

As we walked through the front doors of the hospital, we hurriedly told the receptionist that Bailey was in labor and he quickly buzzed for someone to bring a wheelchair over to us.

As soon as Bailey sat down in her wheelchair, Noah burst in through the doors and frantically searched around until his eyes set on us and he sprinted down the corridor and when he reached us, he was panting but he didn't let that bother him as he gave Bailey a kiss on the cheek and he asked her nurse if everything was okay.

"Sir, excuse me but we have to get her to her room. We have prepared a bed for her." Noah nodded at him and the nurse wheeled Bailey to her room with all of us following behind.

I didn't know why, but I was nervous.

I remember my auntie Hazel had some complications during the birth of her recent baby and there was a 40% of her surviving but God was on our side and she and her son both came out alive.

I didn't know what would happen to Bailey. I wasn't immediate family, so I was sure that if there were any complications, no doctor would tell me.

I felt a warmth in my hand and I looked down to see Harry's hand intertwined with mine and he had a small smile on his face but he didn't look at me and continued trailing behind Noah.

When Noah and Bailey entered the delivery room, Harry pulled me aside.

"Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, I just realised that everything that's going on with Noah and Bailey could happen to us one day but that's only if I get the balls to ask you out. So Kehlani, will you be my girlfriend? I know that we've been getting close lately. I've just been scared to actually ask you out but I'm doing it now. So will you?"

"Yes!"

The day was turning out to be fantastic for me, my best friend was having a baby and the guy I liked had asked me to be his girlfriend. I doubted that anything could ruin my day, but I had a tiny voice in the back of my head telling me that my day could get ruined instantly.

I also felt terrible because I still hadn't told Harry about me having sex with Liam. I wasn't planning on doing it but I felt like the guilt would catch up to me one day and I'd just spew it all out.

A few hours later, we were sat down still waiting for the news of Bailey and Noah welcoming their child into the world. A few hours had passed before Liam and his parents came to the hospital.

I felt awkward as Harry's arms were around me and my head was lying on his shoulder and every once in a while; he gave me a kiss on the forehead and Liam and his parents were staring right at us.

I didn't know what to say, so I kept my head down and texted my mum the news of Bailey being in labor and she told me she would inform Bailey's parents as Bailey had forgotten to do it and I didn't have their number anymore. My mum also said that she and my dad would come to the hospital when Bailey had given birth as they didn't want to make her feel overwhelmed because everyone was waiting outside for her baby to make an appearance and it could cause her to be stressed.

As another hour was about to end, Noah erupted from the delivery room with a massive grin on his face.

"She is called Raegan Neveah Aaliyah Smith."
