My face turned pale as I stared at him, shocked!
"W-What!" I stuttered blinking rapidly "You don't mean that, do you?"
"It's the full moon tomorrow and a perfect time for mating with an 80% chance of conception. If we do it, then you'll be pregnant a fortnight from today. When we get back to Moon Whisper, we'll get married and you'll be coronated as my queen," he explained staring at me steadily.
"A baby…" I swallowed hard; this wasn't what I was expecting. I had thought he would ask that we leave Greyhound immediately. "Isn't it too much?"
"Carrying my child is the only way I would know you're serious about me. It's a big sacrifice I know but…".
