Once he was on his feet, Ius was surprised by how light the lady was. It wouldn't matter to him whether she was heavier than she looked. However, it felt unnatural to him to carry someone who made it feel like he wasn't carrying anything at all.

Through her uniform, Ius felt the coldness of her skin. It was a cold night already, but her body made him bite the inside of his cheeks. Her skin was as cold and lonely as a lone glacier in the middle of the arctic.

"Young master, let's be on our way." the Warden, who was standing outside of the cell, said, "Or, would you rather have me inform the servants of the mansion to prepare a room for the lady?"

Without looking at the warden, Ius answered, "Please do the latter. Tell them to make the room as warm as possible. Also, inform them that the lady needs a warm bath and a fresh change of clothes."

"As you wish, young master. Well then, I'll be on our way. I'll send some guards to accompany you."
