Clearing the Town

The two little beasts, unlike what their appearance suggests, are mighty and crafty. Although they have an extremely large number of skills, each one complements the other perfectly. It was the ideal configuration for battle!

"But why did you become a government employee instead of a mercenary?"

I couldn't help but mutter after regaining my senses. Fina, hearing my sudden question, tilted her head cutely before replying.

"Because I don't want to put myself at risk."

She had a point. But if she wished to do that, then why are her two tamed beasts optimized for battle?

"That is because I ask these two cuties to protect me every hour of every day. They must be powerful enough to protect me, right?"
