Renegades from Hell

The music quickly stopped as everyone but me held their attention on the loud commotion coming from the front of the tavern. In walked a red tinted demon like creature with a wing span of no other and as she walked her tail whipped knocking over a table, right behind her was her companion a taller figure with long blonde hair and a stare that could literally killed a man. They both had greatly sized horns and there was no doubt that they were both demons of some sort.

They made their way towards the bar as the music continued to play. Zebar gave them a stare down, which the one in front returned his glare with one of her own.

"State ye business here, ye best not be here for non trouble!" The old giant roared.

She raised and eyebrow.

"We are not here for any trouble old man! We come seeking one named Athena, we were told by a profit that we could find her at this exact tavern." she held his gaze.

I practically spat my ale back into my cup half of which went up through my nose. I silently cleaned myself up being careful to keep an open ear out.

Right then a Change-ling hopes off the stage after a song had just finished and bounced it's way to where they were standing. It plopped itself down and with welcoming energy spoke.

"Hi there! Welcome to Cardamom! I'm Kaiden, the Change-ling, don't mind Zebar, he's a bit grumpy from the last time a demon entered through these parts. They burned down the church!" It giggled.

"I am Xenneth the Succubus and this is my companion Oriana the Vampire we come from the 6th realm of hell." Xenneth turned and gave the Change-ling a grin.

I thought to myself. "There's no WAY! The ones I'm supposed to meet where DEMONS?! What the actual Fuck?! Forget this! I'm outta here!"
