Clock Work

Two goblins come rushing from the dark tunnel up ahead and I release my first bow, hitting him right between the eyes. the second goblin stops shortly terrified of what had just happened. He snaps out of his trance and shoots an arrow at Xenneth, sending her spiraling downward crash landing into me, but as he does Mikey quickly attacks throws his spear at him sending it straight through the goblins chest.

Xenneth then looks up Mikey "Good hit, man! " congratulating him on his kill. I roll Xen off of me. "Get off, you're heavy!" I whined standing back up as two more goblins come running down the long dark hall.

Mikey raises his spear with the now dead goblin still attached to the end in a victory stance "Back or I'll kabob you like this guy!" Xenneth laughs evilly at his pun, now getting up off the ground, while I move to go stand back beside Mikey readying yet another bow. The one goblin on the left rushes and tries to go and hit Mikey but misses and I take my shot and drive my arrow through his neck sending him flying backwards onto the ground.

I ready another arrow. "I'm watching you, you're next." Xenneth then takes it upon herself to fly over to the last goblin and waps him upside the head with her staff. The goblin goes to swing his sword on her and misses. Mikey throws the dead corpse down at the goblins feet. "Get to talking what is this place?!" The creature tilts its head to the side in confusion then grins evilly, moving into a quick attack against Mikey.

"Your time is up!" I shout and release my arrow hitting him in what felt like super slow motion, straight through and out the other side of his mouth.

After the battle was over I retrieve my loose arrows picking up a few others while Xenneth searched the near by dead bodies finding three health potions, she quickly drinks one and puts the rest into her pockets. Mikey looks over watching her the whole time. "What?! You don't need these!"

Mikey shakes his head and searches the goblins other pocket finding a mysterious key. Xenneth picks up two stray arrows and a bow off the cold floor. "Athena and Mikey, Go search the other rooms." She commands us. I nudged her shoulder with mines passing her. "Fucking princess."
