In Ambermane's guest house,

Dominic was sitting cross-legged in one of the rooms with his eyes closed as though he was meditating.

Other than some simple furniture and a few things, the room was mostly empty.

Suddenly, Leo appeared in front of Dominic out of thin air.

"Boss, you are back."

Before Leo could make any sound, Dominic opened his eyes and politely greeted him.

"Yes."

Leo nodded his head and asked, "How are things going on for you?"

After wrapping up the things in the mission hall, he returned to Julia's house before coming here.

"From the missions, we got around 10000 hero coins and Zen paid us one hundred thousand hero coins as an advanced paymet."

"We noticed that two mercenary squads 'Ethereal Blades' and 'Silent Beasts' entered the town as they were invited by the other two top families of Phirie city."

"As for the search regarding two men you asked, it is still ongoing."

Dominic didn't waste time as he directly explained the progress of the tasks given by Leo.

"You can put a hold on the search until we come out of the 'God ruins'."

Leo nodded his head.

Leo nonchalantly replied to Dominic and lightly tapped Dominic's storage ring with his storage ring.

"I am transferring 10 million hero coins. I will say which items to buy in tomorrow's auction. Just buy them and give it to me later."

Dominic unconsciously nodded his head; however, he found something was not right.

Leo shook his head as he changed the subject, "I saw them, Black suits."

"They are in the city?"

As soon as Leo mentioned 'Black suits', Dominic became serious and hurriedly said, "Leo, I think it's better for us to leave the city now."

This time, Dominic didn't address Leo as 'Boss'; instead, he called him by his name while suggesting they leave the city.

"You know I can't leave until I find out why and who killed my parents, right?"

Leo shook his head as he continued, "Moreover, you know how I had to live and what I had to do to get here?"

"Did you forget I am still suffering even now as we speak."

While pointing at his chest, Leo spoke in a cold voice, making Dominic sigh.

After taking a deep breath, Dominic replied to Leo with a serious look as he continued, "However, you should not forget the true reason we come here. Thousands of lives depend on you, and if something happens to you ...."

"I know."

Leo nodded his head and said, "I will go back now. Let's meet in the auction tomorrow."

"Okay."

"Right! I forgot about it."

Suddenly, Leo recalled something as he took out the minotaur king's corpse.

"There is a rank 6 weaponsmith, Nick. He is looking for the horns to refine a rank 7 weapon or artifact to become a rank 7 hero….."

Soon, Leo gave the information about the weaponsmith and ordered what Dominic had to do.

"Don't worry. I will take care of it."

Dominic nodded his head as he returned to his usual smiley face after Leo disappeared.

"Brother Leo, let's go. We are getting late."

In the morning, Julia rushed into Ryan's house and called Leo.

"I am ready."

As soon as she called him, Leo appeared beside her and said he was ready.

"Where are you going today?"

Ryan rushed out of his room and asked with an anxious look.

"You don't need to know. Let's go, brother."

Julia scoffed at Ryan as she pulled Leo's hand and dragged him out of the house.

"Yes, brother. Brother Leo said they are going for a premium auction hosted by Sister Amy's family."

The twins knew their Brother Ryan had feelings for Julia. So, they informed Ryan where they were going.

"Also, Julia asked us to give you this ring."

While saying that, Emily gave Ryan the 'Ring of Fire'.

"Really?"

As he took the ring, Ryan was excited and said, "This is a perfect match for me."

As soon as he put the ring on his finger, Ryan felt he could do more damage with his talent.

Soon, he started dreaming about Julia.

Emily and Evan shook their heads and went back to their rooms.

After leaving Ryan's house, Julia and Leo took a ride to the core section of the city, filled with luxurious and majestic buildings.

"Welcome to the Icefeather auction house. This is where my family holds all the auctions and it is also where we study the rare items and treasures found in the wilderness."

As they entered the building, Amy gave a brief introduction.

"Now, let's talk about the auction."

Amy saw them listen attentively. So, she continued, "Since this is a premium auction, we didn't invite many people. Including you, there are only eight passes issued this time. Each of you will be sitting in a closed chamber to prevent others from knowing who bought the item."

"Good."

Leo nodded his head and asked, "But, what if the Icefeather family leaks the information?"

"The Icefeather family would never do that."

Amy replied to Leo with a serious look, making Leo nod his head.

"Amy, rules got changed at the last minute. On the request of the City leader and three family heads, there will be no closed chambers for this auction."

Just as Amy finished her words, a young man in designer clothes made up of rank 9 mutated beasts walked towards them with a smile.
