Chapter 95: Venom of Adder

Ain snickered, his itching desire to join the ring pumped his fist in excitement as he suddenly attacked Hexel and Ophir. The two got plunged on the Kitchen counter.

"Ah, that was a good breather!" Ain exclaimed.

Bylon and Cyprus joined him as they stood side by side.

Nevi punched in between their gap. He dismantle the their stance from above. Natalina pour a cloudburst made of sapphire and pushed the trio on edge.

Natalina and Nevi land on the ground with the whole team. The Tale Bearer assembled. Ophir smiled at their posture.

"Lehi and Nevi go after the young man. Natalina, Urchin and Hexel take the witch. Kiel and I will deal with the uncrowned king."

Ophir instructed. The team dispersed moved in motion as to how Ophir advised.

Ain got surprised when Nevi dunked both of his arms at his face. Ain was about to stood up but got wrapped by Lehi's oil.

Lehi dribbled Ain until he got weakened. Nevi grab his ankle and splat him on the floor. Ain can't even react. Nevi's strength and overwhelming force is delaying his response.

Lehi recited a prayer to mold her comb.

"God Almighty, You are the main reason why we thrive. We declare Your strength and faithfulness toward us. Amen."

Lehi's comb became a huge chain with spike. Lehi used it to tie up Ain like a bondage. Nevi called Lila and she opened the portal. Nevi and Lehi instantly move and put Ain within Gardenia's cage. Ain struggled to move but he losed his consciousness when Lehi squeezed his body.

Bylon and Cyprus got outnumbered they both escaped from the Tale Bearers. Ophir and the others returned with Urchin. Cyrus acknowledge their amazing aid. Cyrus tried to question Ain and Poldo for Cyprus goals and plans but they refused to tell him anything.

Lehi healed Lila's hand and womb. Lila's wound reacted from her overexertion of gift. Her physical body got exhausted. Lila immediately rested after Lehi's ointment. Nevi, Cyrus, Ophir and Kiel recieved the same treatment.

Ain and Poldo broke out their jail and proceeded as they planned. Cyprus was right about his brother. They need to execute the order and kill Gardenia.

Ain cut the space and entered Gardenia's

palace. When they ventured through out the massive hall and they were unable

to spot her.

Ain heared the shower room opened. Poldo and Ain made their way to her chamber and found her garment laid on the bed. Ain cut the space and waited for Gardenia to enter her bed chamber.

Poldo concealed their presence when they heared the door knob twisted.

Gardenia sensed the uninvited presence. She recited a prayer and hanged the frame on the bathroom door with all the gemstone and treasure she had.

"Our God who appointed our destiny. You have revealed everything to me through the life of Urchin. I am grateful for the time You have allowed me to have. May this fate birth a legacy that will bring glory upon Your Name. Thank you for the love. Amen."

Gardenia step out of the bathroom and Poldo stabbed her chest. Ain waited for her breath to drop before he unleashed his space. The Queen's palace got rustic due to the spilled blood. Eyel was the one who spotted Gardenia's lifeless corpse. Her white robe got painted in blood. Till her last breath she still looked graceful laid on the palace floor.

Ophir and Hexel checked out the jail and the cage were unharmed nor broken. They got tricked by Cyprus. They were the one who got played. Cyprus scripted everything. What bother's Ophir was Gardenia's actions and emotion the last few days. She was shinning so bright that Ophir thought heaven opened it's window upon her.

Lehi and Natalina found the frame she hanged on her bathroom wall as they both started to sob. Urchin locked himself within his room. Nevi was trying to comfort Urchin but he got no response.

Cyrus noticed her quirks and her radiance demeanour the last few days but he never thought that he will lose her like this. Cyrus felt like a part of him died. The intense outburst of grief made Cyrus wept in front of the people around him. Lila and Kiel came afterward. Keil started to wail when he witnessed Gardenia's cold body.

Cyrus hugged Gardenia's body as he rocked her back and forth in his arms. His word were in between sobs. His sorrow were evident.

"How could you do this to me? I did not get married to lose you halfway... So please open your eyes... I am begging you."

Cyprus laughed in victory as he heared the good news. He applauded and congratulated Ain and Poldo for performing well. Ain bowed his head as he recalled Gardenia's words upon him before she released her breath.

"Ain was your name isn't it? I heared from Urchin that you took good care of him. Thank you..."

Zayin and his family recieved the news and cleared up his schedule. Yodh and Taw packed their things and is preparing to venture toward El Othniel. Asno, Von and Wee meet at the waterfall that curtains each border. Aquila and her assistants arrived at the palace gate and got welcomed by Eyel and Mem.

Cyrus assigned the Tale Bearers to guard and watch out of Cyprus gang within the crowd. Kiel and Lila remained by Cyrus side. Lehi got assigned with Urchin. Urchin was blaming himself for not doing anything when he already saw the vision. When Urchin informed Gardenia about this, she asked the favour to keep it a secret.

Gardenia did not wish to change what is destinied. Till the very end she committed her life for the prayers and blessing of the people. Urchin remembered how they shared a food and cried together. When Urchin said that he will help her and protect her. She gracefully refused. Rather she held her pinky finger that Urchin will never blame himself. But Urchin can't seem to live up to what he vowed for. His been crying and are skipping his meals not until Cyrus himself knock on his door.
