(3rd Person POV)

We continue off from last time when Team Tadano and Team Nomura were about to face off against each other. The teams were stretching as not to to cramp up, and we all know cramps suck. The two rivals, Komi and Nomura, were giving each other a hundred yard stare at each other attempting to intimidate the other.

Tadano and Megumi who were oblivious to this rivalry were stretching happily while expecting a good match. On the side Hikari and Hitomi were exuding an aura of eagerness trying to see who would win. While Hikari's boyfriend, Najimi, and Juuzo were betting on who would win.

As the two teams were finished they went to their respective sides of the net and proceeded to flip a coin for who would go first. Najimi then asked who would be heads and tails, and Nomura said she would be heads so Team Tadano was now tails. Najimi flipped the coin and it landed on tails.

Tadano's team are the first to serve for the first match. Tadano at the front threw the ball high and hit it with such tremendous force that you could clearly hear the impact of the hand on the ball from at least 65 meters away.

Nomura and Megumi who were caught off guard were unexpectedly incredibly surprised by Tadano's physical prowess. Now Megumi was complaining about how unfair it was and that since Tadano was a guy he was naturally stronger. Now Tadano being the gender equality enthusiast he is responded back.

"You say you wish for a fair match, is that what I am not giving you?" Tadano said

"Well you're a guy your body is stronger than ours!" Megumi responded

"I don't see how that's my problem, just git gud kid." Tadano answered

Megumi just stood there speechless not able to find the words to quip back at what Tadano had said. Nomura who was watching this unfold tried to hold in her laughter but failed when her chuckles were heard by Megumi. Megumi just sulked and pouted while the next round started It was Komi who was going to serve this time since Tadano felt a bit bad.

Nomura thought she had a chance when Komi was the one serving, but boy was she wrong about that. Komi then proceeded to spike the ball so fast that Nomura was barely able to block it. As soon as the ball hit her forearms Nomura couldn't help but stagger at the sheer force behind the spike. Nomura successfully blocked the spike and hit it over the net.

'What the hell was that spike?! Is she even human?!!' Nomura internally panicked

As the ball went over the net Tadano raised his hand and went for a spike. As soon as he hit the ball Megumi blocked it as she dived into the sand then Nomura spiked it which caught Tadano off guard since he thought it was a hit. As Nomura looked at Megumi she saw how she looked like she was in pain and her arms were visibly shaking.

Team Nomura was at a major disadvantage due to the fact that these two are system fueled gamers, and one of them is treating it like a death match. As the ball flew towards the sky they couldn't see it anymore as the sun was blocking their vision. Then all of a sudden Komi hears a thud next to her, and when she turned she saw the volleyball sitting there taunting her. Komi was understandably shocked at this.

The gears in Nomura's clicked as she thought of a plan to defeat team Tadano. She knew that if she were to hit it high there was a chance to blind the opposing team and having a chance to score. This is even better than expected since Tadano has blue eyes which naturally take in more light than darker colored eyes like brown or black, so it'll be brighter for Tadano sue to biology.

After this revelation from Nomura a series of plays were executed throughout the match and they eventually tied with each other. The final game to win the volleyball tournament finally came. Each team are tied with 24 points.

"Now it's the final match! Who will win?! Team Tadano? or Team Nomura? It all comes down to this!" Najimi commentated with vigor.

Now Tadano and Megumi were just having fun, one doing their best and the other holding back their strength immensely. Nomura and Komi were just staring at each other with visages of a black panther and a white wolf behind them menacingly growling at each other.

Now the final match to prove these two females superiority over the other, much to their oblivious teammates. Now the one serving is Team Nomura with Nomura tossed the ball high and when it's right above the net she spiked it.

Now Nomura's blind tactic was getting figured out by Komi so all she did was keep an eye on Nomura, and when the ball was spiked by Nomura Komi saw where it was going to land and she immediately intercepted it by diving and getting the ball up high enough for Tadano to spike it. Tadano then spiked the ball as hard as his limiter would let him and with a reverbing smack the ball hit the sand.

Komi won!

She was able to show her superiority over Nomura and she has never felt this excited before. Meanwhile Nomura felt a sense of inferiority and shame as Komi won.

(Nomura POV)

'What the heck are with those two?! Their so strong' I thought

'If he's this strong and this girl is similar to strength with him.... can I even stand by his side as a partner to him?' I said to myself with my melancholy thoughts.

As I saw those two smiling and reveling in their victory I see that girl smile at me. Right then I knew that this girl would be my stepping stone, she was my obstacle to being able to stand beside Tadano as equals. I will make sure that I would not lose to this girl again and I will be the one to win against her.

As I see Tadano celebrate with this girl I feel a pang in my heart that just doesn't sit right with me.

(3rd Person POV)

As Nomura dealt with her own inner demons, Tadano and Komi celebrated their victory and all of a sudden Tadano hugged Komi, he was really happy and forgot about personal boundaries. That however did not irk Komi in any way whatsoever. As soon as Tadano realized what he did he quickly let go of Komi and apologized. Komi on the other hand was looking at him with a soft smile that pierced Tadano straight through the heart.

The 2 groups then spent the rest of the day just relaxing and playing in the water for a bit. As it reached the end of the day the two groups stood on a dock and watched the beautiful sunset. The orange hue of the sun staining the ocean as the sky was a mix of red and the dark night gave the sight a poetic magnificence. They sat on the dock just taking in the breathtaking sight in front of them, and taking advantage of this situation Najimi slyly slid 'her' hand into Juuzo's who did not object.

The groups then took the train to their respective homes. Nomura's group got off first as they're station was closer to the beach than that of Tadano's group. The two groups then said their goodbyes and soon they were left with a tranquil silence. Tadano was going through his phone looking through some news articles, one being "Man Tortured and Killed 3 Students he Claimed raped his daughter!". Tadano looked at this and thought that those 3 deserved it.

'Man those 3 are such fucking scum.' Tadano thought with an emotionless visage.

As he was looking at the article Komi who was tired leaned on Tadano's shoulder and fell asleep. Tadano who felt this flushed red and kept quiet, afraid that he would wake Komi up. It went like this for the entire train ride and they finally reached the Tokyo Station. Tadano then was forced to wake Komi from her peaceful slumber. She slowly fluttered her eyes open and yawned with a cute and squeaky voice which just warmed Tadano's heart. Komi then looked at Tadano with a small blush painting her cheeks and thanked him.

"T-thank you for letting me sleep on y-you." Komi replied shyly.

"It was no trouble." Tadano answered

The group the divided itself into 2, Juuzo was walking with Najimi heading to the left. Tadano, Hitomi and Komi were headed to the Tadano house first since it was the closest to the station. After they dropped of Hitomi at the house Tadano escorted Komi towards her home like a gentleman. The two were walking and Komi who was still on a high from her victory held Tadano's hand and stayed like that until they reached their destination. Tadano who was surprised by this action thought nothing of it and just held her hand.

They finally reached Komi's house and Tadano said goodbye to Komi.

"Well this is your stop, speak to you soon Komi! Bye!" Tadano exclaimed

"G-goodbye Tadano," Komi responded

As Tadano walked away from the house Komi closed the door and entered her home.

(Komi-san POV)

I went inside and ate dinner with my family. I then walked into that bath and took a warm relaxing bath as I reveled in my victory. I then opened my system notification and what I saw surprised me.

|Objective completed!

Host has completed objective "Assert Your Dominance Upon Your Rival" and has received the reward 'Sleepy Stockings'. However due to the actions of the host such as sleeping on Sempai's shoulder and holding his hand has resulted in bonuses.

Yor Briar is an expert assassin who uses two handheld melee weapons resembling that of an ice pick. Yor Briar is also an expert in hand to hand combat, even giving a hard time to trained spies such as Twilight.

Yor Briar uses twin ice pick resembling weapons which are great for throwing and stabbing.|

I don't know how to react to this, I mean these bonus rewards are that of assassination. I mean I don't want to kill anyone, but I guess baggers can't be choosers. I mean what type of situation would I be in, in order to use these abilities.

(A/N: *cough*plot*cough*))

Well I suppose I should go to bed now. I then changed, walked into my room, and fell on top of it. I lay in silence and look at the notepad Tadano gave me those years ago. I can't help but feel so happy and nostalgic when I see it. Well I can't help but feel that more troublesome things will appear in the future.
