CHAPTER 6:The Lasting Blood Bond.

"Andy! Wait,where are you taking me ?!Nathan asked loudly trying to slow down Andy so he could catch up to her. "We have to hurry or else the dawn of awakening Will be over"Andy responded with a weird tonation encoded in her voice. Nathan noticed this but didn't dwell on it , he just wanted to hold his sister tight and never let go again. They ventured deeper into the ruins as an awful smell hit Nathan's senses. "Andy, this place smells awful can we please turn back ?" Nathan asked feeling the smell growing stronger. "The smell is from the unloyal servants who deserved what they got for disobeying my master." Andy said with a straight face and a strange echo in her voice ." Andy! What is going on,can we please turn back , it's starting to get weird and scary " Nathan retorted trying to convince Andy out of What ever she wanted to do. "No! We have to meet him or else we might never see each other again. We've gotten so far, are you willing to just let this go. A chance to be together again as family, that is what I'm fighting for us Nathan. If you think this is a mistake you might as well turn back" Andy mutted as a tear run down her glowing face . Nathan watched with an aching heart "ok I won't question you or stop you but at least wait for me catch up ,ok "Nathan said closing in on the distance between them. They walked the ruins together with their fingers intertwined . Nathan closed his eyes savouring the moment with his sister but for some odd reason it felt different and off at the same time. He was excited to see his little sister again but never thought of how ahe was alive . "Let's go Nathan " Andy said pulling Nathan by the hand continuing their journey. "Nathan? Andy never called me that,she always found my name funny and will always giggle when trying to mention it" Nathan spoke loudly within his consciousness feeling a sense of doubt with all that's going on. He looked around the ruins and suddenly noticed something. The leaves of the trees within area should be wet with water because of the rain ,instead the drops on the leaves were taint red like blood. He approached a tree and was shocked by what he saw , blood dropping off every leaf as faint cries could heard reverberating from the tree."Andy, where are we going and why is there blood on every tree?" Nathan asked with a shaking voice "don't be scared Nathan the blood you see us that of the unfaithful servants of my master who weren't trustworthy to him. Don't worry as long as you obey him you're going to enjoy the fruitfulness his service "Andy said beaming a cute smile to Nathan. When Nathan heard her response,for some unknown reason his heart started beating wildly like an impending danger was creeping right for him. "Master?servants? What is going on Andy? Whatever game this is to you it's starting to scare me ok" Nathan said pulling Andy back stopping her tracks . " Nathan, this isn't a game ok" "why do you still call me Nathan, the little sister I know called me big brother. What's going on ?" Nathan asked drawing away his hands clutched within Andy's. "I see... now you want to clutch away from me isn't it ? Well you see under normal circumstances you would have been dissected ,eaten limb from limb but ,my master insist you are brought to him. So try not to make a sound cause I'm done putting on a show for you " Andy mutted as a tone slowly rose from an adoring little girl to a cracking demon. Nathan exclaimed silently staring at the morphing figure who was once his sister transform into a hideous creature . One with red bloody eyes and razor sharp claws toppled with long hind legs and shark like teeth. Nathan staggered backwards squirming with wide eyes. Y..you a...are not A...Andy " "well obviously as you can see " the demon responded with a hoarse voice and a deadly grin. "Now either you follow me silently or I'm going to drag your battered half dead body with me to my master" the demon continued holding Nathan by the neck and tossing him right at a near tree . Nathan exclaimed loudly shedding with fear and pain from the impact. The demon grabbed Nathan by the heel dragging him on the forested floor as it continued its path to it's so called master. Nathan was covered in wounds and scratches from dragged for awhile by the demon. He hished in pain bitting his lips as blood tickled down his bruised face. He held unto a rock stopping the tracks of the demon whist grabbing hold unto a nearby log smashing it into the demon' s face . It was a desperation attempt but swift one granting Nathan a temporary freedom. He took to his heels running to wherever he thought was safe. "You are going to pay for that mortal" the demon said spitting out some taces of blood . It hurriedly ran after Nathan growling and grinding it's teeth . Nathan ran with a thuding heart a dreaded soul through the ruins . He suddenly stumbled on a dead end ,a cliff about several meters high. He immediately looked behind and his already thuding heart shoke with maximum fear. He gasped for air looking right at the demon walking slowly for him. He seized his breadth shaking with uncontrollable fright. The demon hurriedly attacked Nathan seizing his neck as it lifted Nathan off the ground towards the end of the cliff. "I told you you'd pay for what you did mortal"the demon said tightening the hold around Nathan's neck. "P....p....plea..se" Nathan stammered kicking his feet in midair . For a second he felt his death starring right at him sneering and growling for his head ,but strangely the demon started squirming in pain . It released Nathan and held it's head screaming in utter pain and tribulation ,as it suddenly exploded into bits leaving a puddle of blood. Nathan crushed down into the puddle of the demon's blood passing out of exhaustion. He suddenly opened his eyes and found himself trapped in the puddle of blood sinking deeper and deeper until he was fully engulfed by the blood pond. As he Sank deeper in the depths of the blood pond ,he felt the blood rush into his mouth, ears and nose. His lungs felt heavy as blood rushed in suffocating him to his death.
