Chiaki transmigrates into a strong and promiscuous heroine based on the action-adventure game she’s obsessed with. Unfortunately, System forces her to marry the villain character of the original game. Does Lance Hua put his heart into this marriage or view her as merely a tool for power? What big secret lurks underneath this scheming System? ================ Excerpt ================ "I'm not a sophisticated cook; my home cooking is so-so." "I can cook just fine." "Please split the house chores. With my guardianship duty, it's impossible for me to do the housekeeping alone." "Do you think I can't pay for cleaners?" Chiaki looked up from beneath her long lashes. "And lastly, um, don't force me in bed without my consent." The Evil Lord of the Northern region leaned closer, lowering his head until his dark irises turned blurred in her vision. "Do I even look like I want to sleep with you?" ======= This novel shares the same universe as my other novel, Taking Back This Battered World (TBTBW). Lance Got My Tongue

"Set your sights on protecting the Dome."

It was the only thing she could remember from her final academy days as she was selected for the Guardianship programme.

Many other schoolmates were the officials and officers. Their lifetime service had been determined since they graduated from the academy.

There were three government posts that could be applied for once someone graduated. Those three were the Council path, the Guardianship path, and the officials' path.

Each path was indeed paved when someone was still in the academy because the courses were vastly different.

For example, Guardianship emphasised martial arts, weapons, and protections. Coming from the Spring family who was famous for their war strategy modules, Chiaki naturally saw herself on this path.

For those who were in the Council membership programme, their courses were mostly packed with politics and economy, law and engineering, with the bare minimum class of self-defence.
