"Thanks to this unexpected turn of events, my family is whole again. We will try, no, do our best for our family to stay whole for all time.

"And later this afternoon, expect a surprise from me, delivered to your doorstep. Katarina was the one who proposed this, so be thankful to her.

"Once again, thank you for saving my life."

What we did is just part and parcel of our roles as entertainers: To make people happy and uplift them from whatever dire situation they have.

And that is why we'll continue this mission as country singers, though tiring as it is sometimes.
