Rising Tensions.

The atmosphere in the Volkovs industries office has become increasingly strained over the past few days.

Whispers and sidelong glances have become the norm as the employees can't help but notice the palpable tension between Robin and Malik.

"Did you see the way they glared at each other in the break room yesterday?" Samantha, one of the junior accountants, leans in to confide in her colleague, Kendra.

Malik's piercing gaze often intimidated others in the office, but now it seemed practically molten as he directed at some unseen enemy.

Kendra nods, her eyes wide. "I know! And the other day, I swear I saw Ms Emerson practically run out of the conference room whenever Mr. Malik walked in."

Samantha snorts at that.

"I tell ya, it's getting harder for _me_ to stay in the same room with them," she says, while gesturing towards Robin's and Malik's offices, which were situated across from each other.
