A Little Problem

In a desperate attempt to regain her footing, Robin reaches out, her other hand landing squarely on Ramsey's chest.

The impact sends them both tumbling to the floor

"Oof!" Ramsey grunts, his arms instinctively wrapping around Robin to break her fall, Robin landing on top of him, her face mere inches from his.

For a moment, they both freeze, their gazes locked.

Ramsey's breath catches in his throat, and Robin can feel the rapid thrum of his heartbeat beneath her fingertips.

The back of her skull tingles.

"I-I'm so sorry," Robin stammers, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment. "I didn't mean to—"

Then, Ramsey's expression shifts, his eyes narrowing as a flash of something akin to panic flickers across his features.

"Get off me," he growls, his voice low and rough.

Robin blinks, momentarily stunned by his reaction. "Ramsey, I—"

"I said, get off!" Ramsey barks, his hands gripping her shoulders as he pushes her away.
