2. I'm Engaged?

Her stepmother was the first to speak.

" Why are you here? "

" Duh, I live here"

" Why did you suddenly come back? " her sister asked.

"Why can't I come back. I've finished my studies; and besides, Grandpa is here"

He was actually the only reason why Anne returned to the Kim residence. 

Only Grandpa Kim showed genuine love to her. Not even her father. Instead he showered all his love on her half sister. Ever since her mother died and he married his mistress, it had been like that.

Even though there seemed to be something up with the two witches, the hostility wasn't more than normal so she ignored the miserable duo and went upstairs to look for her Grandpa. 

She saw him coming from his room just as she reached the top of the staircase. He had a little more grey hair than when she left for school overseas, and looked a bit sad. Running into his arms, she shouted,

" Grandpa, I've missed you."

After embracing her for a while, her presented to be angry

"What missed? If I did not beg you to come home, would you even be here? "

" What begged. Grandpa, you pretended to be sick and asked me to come home

" same thing," replied her grandpa shamelessly.

Just as they were preparing to go downstairs, her father interrupted them as he walked out of his study.

" Now that you're here, you can prepare for the wedding." he said, dropping the bombshell.

" What wedding? Who's getting married? And why don't I know about this." 

Wasn't the bride supposed to know about her own wedding. Well if they think I'm taking this lying down they are in for a shock
