Chapter 2: A respectable Playboy ?

The Jackson family is an influential family in various fields and is recognized as one of the three major families in the country of Roua.

The family's fortune is estimated at $250 billion, placing it among the world's ten richest families.

On the other hand, the Frost family, whose fiancée is part of, is among the top ten families in the city of Arlit, but not even in the top ten nationally.

Thus, from a materialistic point of view, the marriage appears to be devoid of benefits for the Jacksons. However, Isaac seemed to hold immense respect for his grandfather who was the cause of the wedding in his memories, explaining why he accepted his fate.

Although he was a playboy, he had the reputation of and is, in reality, a respectable man. He is respectful where necessary and does not have the arrogance or dominance typically associated with someone of his status. Unfortunately, however, he does not believe in love and considers it only as a physical relationship if necessary.

Readers have assumed that if the protagonist and her reconcile and unite their abilities, they could create a fantastic city in this apocalyptic world that could provide shelter and even save the human race, provided that their abilities evolve.

Even though in Chapter 112, they were still weak, Physically equivalent only to Mike Tyson in his youth, which is the peak of human ability, but with special capabilities that had not yet evolved.

Isaac thinks that this hypothesis is quite plausible, especially since the author himself said that the novel is still in its debut, explaining why powers seem weak.

After careful reflection, he recalls that Iris Frost, his soon-to-be-wife, had tried to give him a second chance after their marriage, which leaves him with some hope, meaning he still has some chance.

He took his phone to call her number, but after more than four unanswered calls, he thought, "it seems that she is still angry."

In the evening, about 8:00 p.m Isaac had been a little adapted to his new identity after a busy day.

When he went out, his driver asked him, "Sir, where can I drop you?" Isaac replied: "To the Manor of the Frost family."

The driver was slightly surprised because most of the time, the young master asked to be led by his assistant if he was going somewhere for personal reason. His only work as a driver was to drive him from home to here and from here to home. Nevertheless, he nodded.

Sitting in the back of the red car, Isaac could not help but think that it was nice to be rich. The red car was simply fantastic, but the engine isn't as loud as he thought since the driver was driving slowly but he understands that it was unlikely that the driver would drive fast unless he is a crazy crane.

Observing the towering buildings all around him, he did have a little nostalgic smile in his face. All those luxuries would be destroyed after the apocalypse, which will occur in one year and two months, as he found after his research.

As one of the most important and in the top ten families in the city, the Frost manor was located near the city center, just a little bit before the Jackson Manor, which is precisely the center and heart of the city.

The guardian of the Frost manor was surprised to see a car that he did not know, but he fulfilled his mission by performing an inspection. He was shocked to learn that it was the young master of the Jackson, and so he called the landline of the house to inform them to keep it.

Arian's POV:

Arian was at home today, preparing for his daughter's marriage.

He will not tolerate any error that may compromise the ceremony and cancel the marriage.

He was waiting for other family members for the meal, precisely his son and daughter, who will soon return from work.

Hearing the sound of a car, he thought his eldest son was back. Arian was, in fact, very satisfied with his son Adrian, which is why he let him handle the work of the company for the past few days, although Adrian did not accomplish a particular feat. He was, at least, aware of his responsibilities to the family and is already ready to take over the power. Speaking of power, thinking of the power that the family would acquire after the wedding, he smiled happily.

The phone then rang, the one that the guardian will call when a guest comes. He was surprised; he then looked at his wife, who was also amazed, knowing that they should not have any guests at this time normally.

Maria, Arian's wife, saw her husband take the phone, curious to know who it may be.

She looked at her husband who burst into something called Oscar-acting-level, appearing calm at the beginning, then then widening his eyes and opening his mouth, apparently shocked, before bursting of smile as if he is excited.

After the call ended, she asked, "Dear, who is coming? Why do you look so excited?"

He replied: "It's Isaac, he came to visit Iris."

Both were delighted. Isaac had never shown any sort of interest in his marriage with Iris before, but today he came to see her. And if he wanted to break it? Please, any member of the Jackson family attaches great importance to their honor, which explains why they have not broken their promise about this marriage so far.
