All students had gathered inside the potion room where there was enough space between tables to allow them to work comfortably.
The potions being brewed today included healing elixirs such as anti-aging or rejuvenation tonics along with other concoctions including antidotes against poison. There were also those designed specifically for enhancing physical strength and stamina. The latter two required ingredients that weren't easily available due to their rarity. They were usually sold through auction houses and private merchants.
It was common practice for students to brew these types of medicines during their free periods because it allowed them to earn extra experience outside school hours. It helped them gain higher grade scores too, especially if they wanted to increase and climb up the rank.
