The conference on the second day was packed full.
Representatives from China and Japan took turns giving presentations, intermingled with representatives from other countries, but mostly from China and Japan.
Among the other countries, an expert from Australia brought impressive research achievements.
Australia has a smaller population, but its medical strength cannot be underestimated. Familiar medical devices such as ultrasounds, cardiac pacemakers, cochlear implants, in-vitro fertilization and embryo transplantation technology, CPAP respirators, and more, were all invented in Australia.
Also, the discovery of Helicobacter pylori in the stomach and the cervical cancer vaccine are Australian achievements. The discovery of Helicobacter pylori even won the Nobel Prize.
Surprisingly, Dr. Lin Mingyuan from Singapore brought very good research results as well--a new type of biodegradable implant.
