Kai Syaoran's Scheme

As the red bolt of annihilation lightning descended, the world was quiet. Almost everyone knew that the Wolf Imperator was done for. There was no way he could absorb another bolt of lightning. The heavens were determined to wipe out the wolf.

Kai Syaoran was also very clear on this fact. He had never planned on absorbing it in the first place. He was not stupid or arrogant enough to think himself capable of surviving Heavenly Annihilation by absorbing it completely. Since he knew this fact, he had come up with a plan.

Still, most people thought he was stupid enough to not have a plan. This especially applied to the humans who thought that demonic beasts were mindless creatures with barely enough brain power to put two sentences together. This was why most of them kept silent and waited for the death of the demonic beast.

No sane human wanted this demonic beast to survive. It was too powerful and too talented. Its survival meant the rise of demonic beasts.
