Back in his cultivation chamber inside the underground base, Kai Syaoran activated the defensive formations and sat at the center of the chamber. He had removed the teleportation formation that had been at the center. For what he wanted to do next, he needed to be in direct contact with the ground. Kai Syaoran was cultivating the Akron Dao Scripture that he had created.

This scripture had nine stages before entering the first realm, the Mortal God Realm. This realm had nine stages which corresponded to the nine mortal elements.

The first stage was the Lightning spirit stage and Kai Syaoran had achieved this in the mortal world and in so doing, he had transformed himself into a kind of spirit similar to those in legend. He had then moved on to the next stage which was the Water spirit stage. He had also turned himself into a water spirit in this stage giving him two spirit transformations.
