Hearing the voice, the atmosphere inside the temple instantly Became tense. Everyone looked at the man besides Davon.

This man was dressed in black robes and appeared to be in his forties. They also realized that this man had the same scarlet hair as the members of the Blaze family.

Davon Midas stared at the nervous gazes from the member of the noble clans and the royal family. However, he smiled and gently patted the black-robed man's shoulder. Then, he said calmly while looking at the king: "It's nothing much. I just have a proposal for the nobles who are here. As for you, your Highness, we do not need you and your Royal Family."

"What is the meaning of this Davon? Your family has served our kingdom well for countless years and this I can not deny. So stop this joke right now or if you really want to betray your nation, I will have to raise our sword against you." Amid the tense atmosphere that spread through the temple, the king got up and said to Davon with a smile.

"This is what I mean." Davon snorted when seeing that the King was trying to gain the upper hand: "Brother, kill him."

The black-robed man raised his hand and flames burned in every member of the royal family while red, yellow and orange lights and the creeds of the people echoed into the temple. In a few seconds, the entire royal family was reduced to ashes.

"The king may be at the Heavenly Sky, but we already took precautions about him and the kingdom protector who is now taking care of the Blaze Family's arm far away in the extreme border of the region."

'This is the Blaze family's most well known technique [Instant Ignition], Then this man is ...'

The nobles looked with horror at the black-robed man arrived at the same realization.

Davon smiled and said: "I'm sure the older ones here should know about him, this is my brother, Austyn Blaze."

"As we all know, the Thunder Hammer Kingdom is a rather weak force within the continent. Sooner or later our Nation will not be able to fight back and In the end, we would have to hand over our land, our position and our heritages. What I propose is a union between the small kingdoms and that we serve a greater cause without having to worry about losing what is our own and we can go together to a higher stage."

"And I suppose you'd be the leader of the alliance, right?" One of the nobles raised the same question they wanted to ask and focused his attention on Davon to see what he would answer.

"How could I ... I would not dare be the leader. The leader of the alliance will be my father."Another commotion spread through the temple when they learned that Davon's father was really alive. Davon laughed, seeing his reaction, then he continued: "Yes, yes, just as you all guessed my father is alive and well. In fact he actually suffered a problem with his cultivation that almost killed him, but he traveled to another continent where he found his cure and a way to get even stronger and I'm offering the same to everyone here."

The temple was completely quiet. Everybody's gaze showed interest, yet nobody followed up to speak. It was evident that they weren't sure of what he is trying to say.

"I think that Lord Davon is overthinking the situation. Our kingdom is located at one of the most remote places within the entire continent. If not, why would the empires have this region for so long?" Henry said jokingly.

"I agree with you, but only if the continent we live in the only one in this world, everyone here knows that we have three main continents in our world other than the ten-thousand islands. One dominated by the Faith in Gods, one by the faith in Devils and Demons and the last is ruled by the hands of Mortals. Our continent is the one dominated by the faith in the Gods and this is not a problem, but a few months ago, all contact with the Gods has shut down. The Divine Academies even released their students from class and sent them back to their homes because even they do not know what is happening in the Celestial Realm."

"If Lord Davon has something to say, then just say it. Stop telling what everyone knows" Elijah's grandfather, Luke Branches interrupted.

Davon glanced deeply at Luke before he responded: "As I said before, all I want is for us to stay united. We have a weak position in the continent because we are not strong enough and we do not have the strength because the the region we are is completely divided into hundreds of kingdoms. But what If we unite all the forces within the the Hundred Kingdoms Valley? we would possess nearly the power of one large empire. Not only would nobody dare to invade us, we would even be able to expand our territory and obtain more resources. And with the backing of the organization I'm offering, we wouldn't have to worry even if we were to unite the entire continent. Even if you guys would not be able to retain your noble condition if we dominate the continent, think of all the benefits we could gain."

Shock could be seen in everyone's eyes. What Davon really wanted was to unite all the forces of the continent? Is he insane? At the same time, everyone thought about how Davon was ambitious. As for Henry, he snorted mentally. 'What in the world could give so much confidence to make him think that it was possible to unite the whole continent?'

"Hehe, I give some time to think about my proposal? After all, we are thinking of the future of an entire continent. " Davon did not care about what was on their mind as he said this.

Theodore stood up as Violet tried to hold him as he laughed, "You just killed our king and now you want to talk about a union? Supposing we agree, I'm sure you're going to use some kind of Soul Oath or a Blood Contract to restrict us."

Then, the head of the Ganbell Family, who sat quietly stood up with two other family heads. They gave a slight wink at Davon's direction and suggested. "Everyone here knows that there is no free lunch in the world, so what is the small price of signing a contract compared to dominate the continent, I think Lord Davon and the other Lords here could suggest a few good rules to the alliance and make it work. As for the Leader, if what Lord Davon said is true who could be a better leader that his father that reached the Spirit Link Realm. Because of all of this, the three Families, Ganbell, August and Westport agreed with the proposal made by Lord Davon."

The other Family Heads looked away and exchanged gazes with one another. Although the Midas Family force was the greatest within the Hundred Kingdoms Valley with a man that appears to be on the Sky Foundation Realm and their leader was could the Spirit Link Realm, but their leader was not here and this black-robed man wasn't strong enough to suppress them all. Thus, it was impossible for them to give up their freedom.

"Hmph, although I've always treated you as a friend, my family and I are not afraid of you!" The one who said that was Violet's father, Erik Reyes. He was known to everyone in the kingdom as a person with fiery temper, when he heard Davon's words and realized that all he wanted was to become his master, he said what was on his mind, then shook his sleeves and left the temple without saying another word.

Luke glanced at Davon and noticed that the latter had a faint smile on his face. Like he knew that Erik would have this reaction.

Bang!

As Erik stepped out of the temple, a deep sound came from the entrance to the temple. Then everyone noticed the figure of the black-robed man standing on the sky with huge fire wings spreading from his back. He flew around the temple, destroyed countless stone pillars and trees before landing in the center of the temple and when he opened his hands, the ashes of Erik fell on the floor.

"Father!" "Grandpa!"

Violet collapsed in Theodore's arms when she saw her father dying. As for Layla, although she did not spend much time with her grandfather. She felt deeply saddened seeing he death.

"So, who else wants to leave?"
