DIFFERENT WORLD

So all in one it was like this. The people here in this world are all born with energy which is called 'Mana'. It was just like a fictional story which was very popular among some people back in my original world. Although I can't deny the fact that I have always been a man who has no interest in this matter , Now in this world I can't deny the fact after seeing it with my own eyes.

According to dad mana is energy that is the main driving force behind every magic spell. Like to turn a machine on ,we have to provide some kind of a fuel to it, exactly the same way to perform a spell one has to provide the necessary mana to the spell or the spell will not work.

It was a relief to know that magic is not something that can make every impossible work possible without taking any energy. After all, if not it would prove the law of conservation of energy totally wrong.

After dad had explained this to me , I asked him about why only Nobles could use magic. Then dad continued ,

"Yes it is true that everyone has mana in their body but not everyone's amount of mana is also different. Most likely the mana in normal people's body is not enough for them to perform spells . But Nobles are different. They have a high amount of mana. Actually the amount of mana one can have pretty much depends upon how much mana one's parents have . For this reason Nobles are always miles ahead of normal people in terms of mana capacity and also this is the main reason for their immense power. So you should already understand the gravity of the situation you have created by hurting those people. If in any way the noble who was in that carriage had stayed outside in front of you, you wouldn't be standing here now."

Dad's words were able to send a shiver through me and although it was hard to accept, it was reality that I had to accept and had to find a way out of it.

But then a thought came to my mind. I am not noble and neither are my parents, So how is it possible for me to manage what I have done?

When I asked Dad about it he replied " Ren, I don't know much about it and actually what I have told till now is also not known by pretty much every normal person. But as I have been working for a long time under a noble, I came to know a few things. And as for your question it is possible to have a little more mana enough to do spells for people like us but the probability of it happening is very low. But only having mana is not enough.

Even if one had the mana required for being a mage ,It is required for him or her to take part in ritual when they reach the age of sixteen years . It will activate that mana which is in their body in a dormant state.

Normally Noble's don't allow us to take part in that so it is not possible for us to become a mage. Your case is an unbelievable phenomena, Ren and I am not sure that even a noble can explain what happened to you ."

Now thinking about it my head started to hurt. Maybe it is not so simple for me to understand now. But there was unknown joy somewhere in my heart despite being in such a dangerous situation. It was the excitement of finding a mystery that is completely beyond my imagination.

But there was one more question I had that needed to be cleared and it was did they know about my unusual mana conditions before and if they knew from when did they know.Being a three years child and asking such questions after questions might be rise suspicion in their heart for me, But this was a point with a great importance as I might be find whether the current incidents had any connection with me being from Earth.

So at last I asked mom and dad , "So did you guys know about my mana from the beginning and thus Dad came without absolutely knowing who was behind the market incident?'

Seeing my sharp observational skill Dad was quite surprised. It was not hard to tell that the guards at the mansion only knew that it was the work of a kid and did not know about my real identity and knowing only this Dad was able to come to this conclusion that I was behind it and thus came home hurriedly with some excuse. Of course Dad knew about me from before but the real question was from when.

"Your thinking is not completely incorrect son . We knew but it was not for long. We only noticed when you unexpectedly woke up from the deep fever and screamed. Me and your mom were already worried about this and we knew perhaps we have to hide you from the eyes of everyone. But the day will come too soon ,I haven't realized. " He replied.

'So the reason behind this anomaly was me from all along. I knew it. But there is much more to find . Now I have a goal that I want to complete no matter what.'

If one could see my inside ,they would surely be able to see my wide grin. It looked like my previous estimations were incorrect and it is not a different planet nor did I travel back in time.

It is a completely different universe......….. A different world that has only existed in imagination till now. Perhaps when the explosion happened back on the earth, It broke the spacetime and threw me outside of it. And then I had reached an unknown planet in a completely different universe. From the looks of it, It should be the only plausible explanation.
