ARRIVAL

Continent of Exlecia :

It was the mountain nation of Arovel. It was a country at the northern end of the continent and fully surrounded by mountains by all sides. From the geographical point of view it was completely desolate from the other part of the continent and the great mountain of Nestar located in the south of the country had been always blocking the outer world from penetrating this country.

The extreme riches and beauty of this country had always attracted the lords of the neighboring region to seize it. But the extreme harshness of nature had interrupted all their vicious plans. One of the reasons for it was the distance. Although the nearest nation was only on the other side of the mountain region , But to pass it one had to take a round root that was too dangerous for a normal human and taking a large region of soldier was far dream from reality.

On the north side of the Mountain was a large area with beautiful scenery of green filled by flowers and friendly beasts. According to tales of old , this was a simple knowledge for everyone to know this area as the heaven of mortal world.

This was the only area where people live with any discomfort in their lives in the arms of nature. In the palace of OrangeTree , Ferdinand, the king of the mountain nation was sitting in his usual manner. Despite having a large area , as the amount of people living in the area was too small, the amount of work and management was actually negligible.

His ten years old son Edward was training in the hall with his teacher in the hall in front of the palace. From ancient times this country was a peaceful country but the practice of magic was a culture and tradition flowing in their blood . There were many secret hidden techniques in the royal family. But Edward chose not to become a mage. He wanted to train his body and become a knight and to gain experience through battle and blood he wanted to go to the outside world. But in this nation, it was taboo for one to go into the outside world specially a royal blooded who will be the next king.

Although his father was disappointed in him because of his dream ,He never underestimated the potential in his son. He was looking at his son who was crazy as always going with his training. At this moment There was a knock on the door on his back. When he looked back, he noticed it was his subordinate Austin whose face was pale as a ghost.

After sensing the seriousness of the matter, The demeanor of Ferdinand completely changed and he asked Austin with seriousness "What's the matter Austin?".

Without taking the time to breath Austin Replied , "Your highness there's an attack. We ...… we have to quickly prepare to defend our people."

Hearing this There was a tinge of unbelieveness in His face. It was hundreds of hundred years ago when the last attack came and it never came to this that they had to prepare for defending. But Austin was his most reliable subordinate and he was with him for decades. Feeling anxious Ferdinand said ,"Give me a full report."

"Your highness , some days ago we noticed a commotion going on in the northern forest and beasts were running back from the forest . It seemed that they were afraid of something, even the animals who used to be very calm were running like crazy beasts. To investigate the matter we sent a scouting squad. But they never return. Analyzing the strange decision, the second Army commander decided to take a medium large legion to further look into the matter. When they returned there were only fifteen members remaining including the 2nd army Commander who was in a grave situation. His right part of the body was shattered completely and after very hard efforts from our best healers he was able to stabilize from his life threatening situation" . taking a gulp he continued

"According to the report of the party, When they were able to reach near the position of the center of commotion, they found the body parts of the previous scouting party. The bodies were in a state that was completely unrecognizable and a few parts of bone and flesh were remaining at the body. Something had viciously eaten their body that even the bones were crushed . The brain matter was all over the place and vicious bite marks on their bodies were clear.

After going a little further, they noticed there was a humongous flat area in the mountain surface like something had blown the area to pieces and then evaporated it. In the center of the area ,there was a giant hole and red light was coming from it. And it was not the end. Many vicious looking monsters were coming from it. They have different types and some even have wings and fly.

But before taking any actions they were noticed and forced to enter into combat with monsters. At first they were able to fend off some of the monsters but as the time passed more and more monsters started to come out from the hole and with their greater number and unknown characters , our troops lost their advantage and lost many of our elite soldiers.They were forced to retreat but monsters did not stop to attack them and few of our troops manage to escape but not without dangerous injuries.

We have never seen anything like this and with their increasing number it will be soon when they attack here. "

Hearing all of this, the color of the King's face turned pale. He then gave all commands to enforce his whole army to annihilate the monsters but in the heart he had understood one thing.....'the matter will not be so simple and it was not sure he can solve it.'

He murmured to himself ,"It seems like the end of an era has arrived. It is the arrival of dark age of humanity."
