The Rebels and the Pantheon
The cosmic playground had been silent for too long. The Gods, too afraid to enrage the Primal, had been forced to spend their eternal lives in seclusion. Some lived in the worlds of the cosmos like ordinary people, but their eternal lives weren't fulfilling among the mortals. Their beloved aged and died in what felt like days to the eternal beings.
They couldn't even use the power they had accumulated over the aeons because they were too afraid the Primal would kill them. Even now, the Gods were still too afraid to move openly. However, that didn't mean they couldn't move in the isolated dimensions they had created to fight against each other in the shadows of the cosmic playground.
