Violet could sense their gazes upon her and as much as it made feel a mix of different emotions, she could not care less about what any of them were thinking, for she was not about to give anyone the liberty of judging her or pull down her self-worth and make her question her own life.

She knew what rumors some of them may have heard about her, ones that circled around the palace, since she was a little girl, the very ones that haunted her ever since her real mother passed away and she was given titles that were formed by others.

Violet had no intention of tolerating anyone's nonsense anymore and a part within er, a dept that she could not understand, had begun feeling many things as though she had experienced certain things before, which she found quite odd and wondered why she was feeling that way.

She glanced at the people there as they went into the carriages to head back to the palace in order to prepare for the next day and she sighed then sat down, when she felt as though someone was watching her and her brows furrowed then she turned around and Xania looked at her.

His eyes followed her gaze and his brows furrowed as he wondered what she was looking at and her eyes narrowed, wondering if she was just being a little paranoid about the whole situation since there was a lot of things on her mind.

Kei tapped her shoulder and she looked at him as he gestured for her to close the carriage door and she nodded then closed it, but her mind was elsewhere.

Xania sat on the seat beside her and noticed her gaze kept darting back as they left and he wondered what was going on, since she seemed quite distracted.

"What's wrong?" Xania asked and she glanced at him, knowing she could not answer him since Kei was sitting beside her and none of them were seeing Xania except her, since he could not show himself to them as yet.

She sighed then lifted her hand up, indicating to him that she would talk to him about it, later when they return to the palace and he understood her gesture then nodded with a slight smile and she braced her head against the side of the carriage, wondering why she was feeling that way.

"Violet, once tomorrow reaches, many things will start changing for all of us, this is do different from a survival match, you need to at least be able to use some of your abilities to a certain level, can you do that? Have you been practicing or do you need help?" Kei asked, with a curious tone.

He knew that Violet was still retlitively new to using her abilities, due to the fact he had never seen them until the day of her encounter with their father in the throne room, where she went head to head with him.

"Yes, I can do that, I have been practicing a lot more," She responded as she glanced at him and his eyes narrowed as he looked at her.

"Is that so? Well, it does not matter, still join me for our practices, when we arrived home," He said with a smile and she looked at him, then sighed, knowing he was quite a persistent one and would not give up easily.

"Fine, I will join you, stop acting so cheeky," She replied and he chuckled.

"What can I say, I am the light of thi family, without me around life would be boring and you know that very well," He added with a shrug and a grin, causing her to chuckle and shook her head.

Upon hearing her chuckle, kei's cheerful grin was replaced by a soft smile, since he was glad she was at least relaxing, he knew she had a difficult life, one which he nor his brother could not even comprehend and Kei respected Violet a lot, even if he did not show it much before, he was genuine.

Xania smiled at Kei's ability to lighten up a tense atmosphere in the carriage, he knew the girl's younger brother seemed to have a bit more liking to her than the older brother , Luca, one who would constantly end up butting heads with Violet and it never ended well.

A little while after, they arrived at the palace and got out from the carriage and Violet sighed as she glanced at her father, who was looking at her from sideway and her brows furrowed, wondering what he was thinking this time, since she knew that he had his doubts, ones which were not going to be easily cleared, since they were there for a long time, but she was more determined than ever before.

"Don't look at me like that, I already told you what I needed to, I am not going to ask for any other thing," Violet said to him with her eyes narrowed then she walked away and the king's brows furrowe as he looked at her, slightly in confusion and Kei chuckled.

"This should be good," Kei added before following after her, since he wanted to train with.

Luca's brows furrowed, since there were many things happening lately and most in which Violet was concerned, he could not wrap his head around, for a lot has changed, especially her from the girl he used to know, which made him slightly uneasy even though he would never admit it out loud.

"Violet, earlier... What had you so distracted?" Xania, who appeared out of nowehre, once again asked, as he sat down on her shoulder and she stopped in her tracks then sighed.

"I felt as though someone was watching me, the feeling was strong and a few others things, something deep down, it feels quite similar, I do not know how to explain it, but a part of me feels as though it's changing," She responded and his brows furrowed, as he tred to process wat she was saying, knowing it was making her feel slightly different as well.

Before he could say anything else, Kei approached her and she glanced at him and he pointed his blade at her, showing her it was time for training like she had promised and her eyes glimmered as they narrowed.
