Cultivating Lightning Body

Woken up by the anoying alarm of his watch.Vather groaned as he stood up from the bed.He switched off the alarm as he headed to the bathroom.

Twenty minutes later

A young man with golden red hair dressed in a dark red military suit could be seen moving out of the verdant green garden.

Even though Vather knew he had a [Weapon forging class] to attend for the day, he ignored it as it was an optional class,and he wasn't even interested in forging weapons in the first place.

Today,he was going to check out the Lightning dimensional energy hall,in order to cultivate his Lightning Body technique.

Directed by his holographic watch,Vather soon arrived before a gigantic darkness veil that hung over the entire place.He walked up to the dome as a notification appeared on his watch.

"-10" points has been deducted for lightning hall entry.

Vather snorted coldly as he watched himself being ripped off.What if he was a water elementalist,he would have been easily ripped off of points for just touching the dome.It seems this is the way of the military teaching the students to mind their business.But he made his way into the place nonetheless.

His mouth opened wide as he saw the dark clouds extending for thousands of miles into the distance.Different small domes could be seen around the place as lightning occasionally descend into the domes with different frequency.Far in the distance he could see the clouds growing darker and blue domes of energy with lightning crackling from it acting like some sort of barrier around the place.

"It seems the lightning clouds concentration is divided into different stages.Let me play it safe and start from this stage first."

Vather slowly entered into a random blue dome of energy as he could see a weird type of inscription on the floor of it.The number one to ten could be seen on the inscription which could only mean it was for regulating the frequency of lightning showering down.

He sat on the inscription as he activated level one.The inscription beneath him flashed a white light as a small bolt of lightning streaked from the sea of lightning above and landed on him.

Vather gathered his light element on his body as he hardened the blood on his back in preparation for the lightning strike.Even though it was only at the Lowest stage of lightning.He didn't want to get himself killed by such a simple thing as lightning,apart from that what would he tell King Yama,when told to say his reason for his death.

The beam of lightning smashed down on Vather as he could feel his hairs stand on end and twitched a little but that was all.His light element helped him cushion the force making the remaining amount of lightning do very little harm on him.

He slowly deactivated his light element and hardened blood as he clicked on the 10 button.A gigantic bolt of lightning slammed down on Vather as he grunted loudly,blood pouring out of his mouth.He quickly activated the lightning body technique as the lightning sparkling around him got immediately absorbed into his body and to his cells as wave of impurities got washed out from him.

Another gigantic bolt of lightning immediately slamm down on Vather giving him no time to rest as blood poured out from him again while quickly absorbing it into his body.

Ten days later

A young man could be seen sitting on an inscription flaring with white light while powerful lightning continuously slammed into him,but the young man didn't even twitch a little from the lightning as if he felt nothing on him.

Vather slowly opened his eyes as he clenched his fist.The air was violently compressed in his hands as small boom sound could be heard from the clenched fist.

He pressed the zero button as he moved away from the dome.Vather came out from the dome as he looked at his own body and discovered he has gotten even more lean.His body emitted a beautiful shade of silver, denoting him of having completed the 1st level of the lightning body technique.

The lightning body technique has a total of three stages and he already completed the 1st stage in ten days.He could feel his physical strength has increased even more at least around three times his former strength.

A putrid white air was breathed out from his mouth as blue sparks of lightning could be seen on them.

His watch suddenly beeped informing him of not yet accepting his room challenge for the month.He could see they were five people challenging him for his room.The 16th,17th,20th, 21st,and 25th rooms.

He could choose to fight with three out of the five and even in different days but since he was In the cultivation grounds since all this while he only had two more days to complete the challenge or lose his room.

Vather slowly clicked on the 16,17 and 20 as he replied "challenge accepted, battle scheduled for an hour from now."

Since they think they were stronger than him and can't wait to prove that,then he accepted their challenge all at once to finish things quickly.And since he just had an increase in his strength,he might as well use this opportunity to test just how far he has grown in ten days.He wasn't going to challenge anyone as he was pretty comfortable with his house.

He moved out of the lightning dimensional energy hall as his first thought was ridding himself from this terrible smell.

An hour later,a young man stood before three students as they faced off between each other.

One of the young man before him was the first to break the silence

"It's been almost five days,and you only received the challenge now.I thought you were a scared cat,until you suddenly accept the request.Not only that,but you choose to fight us together all at once.It made me wonder,have you been scared so much, a few screws have been lost from your head.Or after escaping form whatever rat hole you hid in before.The millipedes and cockroaches finally gave you the motivations."

The two other students beside him laughed out loud as they even they couldn't believe the arrogance of this young man.

While the news of Vather defeating a 2nd year Raiden quickly circulated in the school.It was immediately tuned down quickly by those of the Raiden,and Vather himself has been out of sight for many days already making it to become an unbelievable rumour.

Vather looked at the group,before him.Twp of them were only at the Early meridian forging while the last one was at the peak of Body tempering.He couldn't help but snort as he felt the challenge was even useless in the first place.

Looking around the place he could see they were many students around the arena as they couldn't miss watching the battle of home exchange for the top twenty homes.

The referee voiced out"Are you all ready" which they all gave a nod to.

"Go".

The trio quickly moved towards him as the battle of three against one immediately began.

Unknown to Vather,they were three people dressed in dark robes from head to toe making them unseen by all the people around the stage.And they were here to watch the fight personally.His fight personally.
