Secrets of Nazarick

Zelphyr transitioned to his bedroom using the Ring of Ainz Ooal Gown, his body filled with energy after speaking in front of so many people. Unlike before, not an ounce of negative emotions polluted him, he had complete confidence in his future.

"A success if I do say so myself, I suppose this is what those in power get addicted to"

Looking at himself in the mirror, Zelphyr activated the 'Call' function.

"My Lord, you called?"

On the other end, a familiar husky voice immediately responded.

"Cinder, make your way to my personal quarters, I have a few things to discuss, it is about time we finalise our role in this war."

Zelphyr heard what he assumed was an excited chuckle before he ended the call.

Demiurge watched the Throne Room from atop the steps as the hundreds of denizens of Nazarick orderly made their way out of the hall. Most would wonder how such order was maintained when so many different creatures and species were in such close proximity, however, the wise Demiurge understood that such thoughts were useless. This was a natural course, due to the presence of The Supreme Being Zelphyr, Leader of the 41 Supreme Beings and Ruler of the Great Tomb of Nazarick.

"Truly, I cannot compare"

Demiurge shook his head slightly as he spoke in an almost exasperated voice.

"Of course, how could anyone compare to the perfect being?"

A feminine voice spoke out next to him, her words filled with pride.

"Right, Albedo, has Lord Zelphyr left instructions for our next move with you?"

Demiurge questioned Albedo as he straightened his back, returning to his usual confident gait. In front of the two, the Floor Guardians waited patiently.

"Lord Zelphyr informed me that he is preparing for the next step of the plan, thus he needs to be left alone, with only Cinder being granted access to accompany him..."

Albedos expression darkened slightly as she explained what Zelphyr had told her before the gathering.

The other floor guardians showed wry smiles as they noticed her change in mood as she spoke.

"It seems Lord Zelphyr has some important business with Cinder, we should complete our tasks as swiftly as possible, just in case we are needed"

Noticing the drop in mood, Demiurge quickly covered it with his own statement, addressing everyone there.

"Certainly, if I finish my task perfectly, I am sure The Supreme One would grace me with some of his time"

Shalltear said with a light tone, a smile on her face as she began to fantasise.

Hearing the two comments, proved enough to bring the moping Albedo back to normal.

"You are exactly right Demiurge, Lord Zelphyr did state that he will be calling upon us to discuss other operations that he wishes to execute too"

Choosing to ignore Shalltears comment, Albedo relayed the last piece of information Zelphyr had told her before he left.

"We. Must. Be. Ready. To. Answer. Our. Masters. Call."

Cocytus spoke as his jaw clacked together, a small wisp of freezing air escaping.

The Floor Guardians nodded in agreement before dispersing, using their newly distributed Rings of Ainz Ooal Gown.

"That is the plan I have formulated Cinder, what is your opinion?"

Cinder nodded along as Zelphyr explained his plan for the upcoming supporting war, before sinking into deep thought as he processed everything.

'I am thankful that I made it so Cinder is completely honest with me in his opinions, although his blunt attitude can be taxing, it helps when asking for his opinion. I much prefer it to the flattery some tend to give.'

As Zelphyr thought to himself while watching Cinder closely.

Unbeknownst to him, Cinder was currently having his own introspection session.

'What could My Lord be expecting of me? He continues to stare at me without blinking, the pressure alone makes me want to nod and agree...'

Had it not been for his withered bark exterior, he likely would have been sweating as of this moment.

'I understand that Lord Zelphyr wishes for my honesty, but this intense pressure makes me want to smile and agree... My Creator is too powerful...'

Filled with awe for his creator, Cinder spoke as his branches pointed to the map on the table.

Zelphyr, ignorant of Cinders growing admiration, listened intently, continuing their meeting.

Approximately 3 hours passed with Zelphyr and Cinder, planning not only their war plans but also compiling a list of resources necessary as 'relief aid' for the Dragon Kingdom before the combat starts. After all, Zelphyr had already pledged resource aid to the Queen formally, thus he needed to make good on his word.

"Right, Cinder, I have an extra task for your subordinates within Nazarick, let Aura and Mare know that I wish to cultivate a specific type of tea leaves on their floor. Please ask a few of your subordinates to assist them in this"

Cinder tilted his body slightly, genuinely confused by such a random request out of nowhere. He could not correlate the current war talks and Nazaricks future path, with the production of tea.

"My Lord, is the production of these tea leaves so vital for our future plans?"

"No, I want a nice cuppa. All of these meetings feel empty without it"

Zelphyr answered deadly serious. Ever since his visit to Carne, he had been thinking about the severe lack of British Tea in Nazarick. Luckily, he had participated in a special event in Yggdrasil that was British Themed, the cash items were various types of British references, one of which being 'Yorkshire Tea Gold Seedlings'.

'I knew spending the millions on that event was worthwhile, who is laughing now Ulbert? It was a perfectly reasonable purchase'

Cinder sat at the table stunned in silence, unable to retort to his Master.

'Master is a tea addict...'

Zelphyr was walking down the halls of the 10th floor by himself. As he did, he monitored his surroundings, checking for any presences. With his abilities, even the most proficient assassin classes struggled to completely conceal themselves.

'I never did get to thank that Assassin from the Guild war, without him, I probably would not have put too much attention into the perception skill field'

As he reminisced, he approached the end of the hallway. This hallway was a new addition to Nazarick under the guidance of Zelphyr when the majority of the guild had stopped frequently logging in.

'It should be here, it would be pretty embarrassing if I got lost in my own house'

Staring at the ordinary wall, Zelphyr reached into his inventory and pulled out a silver ring. Its appearance looked no different from a low tier item, however to Zelphyr, it was one of his most important possessions.

Equipping the silver ring, Zelphyr channelled his magic into the ring causing it to shine.

"Form is emptiness, Emptiness is form"

Muttering that phrase, Zelphyr watched as the wall seemed to suck into itself, as though a small black hole had appeared, leaving a corridor of darkness.

Without hesitation, Zelphyr stepped past the wall, feeling his body being encapsulated in the darkness.

Opening his eyes confidently, Zelphyr looked around with a slight smile on his face.

"It hasn't changed, as beautiful as it was when I last visited"

Zelphyr was stood upon a thin stone path, large enough for one person to walk along. Surrounding the edges of the stone path, was crystal clear water with small lily pads resting atop the surface. Various aquatic plants and overgrowth lined the walls of the room.

Zelphyr strolled along the path as he bathed in the serene atmosphere. Every now and then, various aquatic creatures could be seen swimming in the water, some with beautiful patterns and colours, while others had unique features. To the untrained eye, it would seem like a tranquil environment, almost inviting people to explore, however, Zelphyr knew that most of the creatures in the water were stronger than the average Troll of this New World.

'I know I made it long for a reason, but experiencing it in person makes me regret it.'

Minutes passed as Zelphyr walked down the stone path with his hands behind his back, all the while, he felt someone observing him.

"Ah there it is"

In front of him, the water ended with a small platform of grass continuing onward. A small distance away was a small gazebo with a table and chairs set out neatly. On the table sat two cups, filled with hot tea.

"Someone is feeling quite welcoming"

Zelphyr said aloud.

In response, a seductive giggle sounded out as a figure came out from behind a pillar of the gazebo.

"My Master, it has been far too long, I have not seen your handsome form in so long"

A woman with a striking figure approached Zelphyr, her breasts were large, rivalling Albedos and her tight waist was only further accentuated by her purple kimono that clung to her body.

Despite such impressive assets, the feature that stuck out most was in fact her skin, a pale light-blue skin tone with small dark blue markings across her body, which provided an exotic feeling that proved she was not a human. Her magenta eyes stared into Zelphyrs eyes as a loving smile grew upon her lips.

"Aerelis, it is nice to see you well, I wanted to visit you sooner but the outside has been very unstable, as I am sure you know"

Zelphyr shrugged, heading over to the gazebo and sitting at one of the seats, followed by Aerelis who sat opposite him with practised movements. Aerelis giggled lightly before replying.

"It seems that Nazarick has been quite busy. Are you sure it is a good idea to keep this place a secret Master?"

She questioned as she sipped her tea. Zelphyr followed suit before continuing.

"I trust the members of Nazarick with my life, but the contents of this room were hidden even from my fellow guild members, especially after they started to leave. That's why I am forced to consign you to this place for now, but I intend to free you soon."

Her magenta eyes squinted in happiness as she felt the depth of emotions in Zelphyrs words.

"My Lord... no... My Creator, Lord Zelphyr, my body, heart and soul are yours to command, as long as I can serve you and only you, I am willing to do anything"

Aerelis bowed her head, putting her cleavage on full display. Zelphyr smiled, his eyes glued to her chest.

"I am thankful for your loyalty and love, you will be rewarded in whatever way you please when you leave. For now, this area requires your protection, as Nazaricks final bastion and my greatest creation"

Aerelis' body shook as she felt Zelphyrs words radiate in her soul.

"My Lord, might I take that as a proposal?"

Aerelis questioned coquettishly.

"I wonder, is it a proposal?"

Zelphyr chuckled teasingly as Aerelis smiled wryly, seeing Zelphyr unperturbed by her charm abilities.

"My master is no fun~ To think my abilities don't work on you"

A mischievous smirk appeared on her lips as she exposes her prank in front of Zelphyr, with no guilt.

"Of course it wouldn't, how could my creation be stronger than me? Although Sirens truly are dangerous, I wonder how badly Demiurge would be affected?"

Aerelis shrugged as she finished off her tea.

"Now then, I will be leaving for now. Continue guarding the entrance Aerelis, the 11th Floor needs its Guardian after all"

Aerelis stood up straight and bowed, her silvery hair dropped past her shoulders, causing Zelphyr to stare at the beautiful sight.

'The ladies of Nazarick truly are beautiful, well, most of them'

"Take care, My Lord, I will be waiting eagerly for your next visit"

Leaving Aerelis behind, Zelphyr walked past the heavy doors. Much like the secret passage before, the silver ring is a requirement for opening this door.

The door closed behind him, causing the room to briefly fall into complete darkness. Without delay, the darkness was quickly illuminated by the torches along the walls, each glowing with a purple flame.

As the room lit up, Zelphyr observed the surroundings.

In front of him was what could only be called a treasure trove.

"My collection is still as impressive as always"

There we go! Another chapter out, again sorry for the delay.

I am working on the auxiliary chapters as well, so my original characters will be posted on there eventually, with their descriptions to help people keep up. Especially with the upcoming chapters.

Not an action chapter, neither will the next one be, but soon.

Anyways! Thanks for reading guys!
