chapter 15 The portal.

" Now take your stance , you are traveling through the portal now , are you ready " Mrs Ashley asked .

some of the student responded by nodding their head , others raised their index finger , but the sign if fear is written all over their faces.

" ok , Portal transportation starts in 5 ,4 ,3 ,2 ,1 " Mrs Ashley counted with her mouth , while she was counting with her mouth ,a number system appeared and Also followed the count down.

Mrs Ashley did the same thing she did why opening the portal earlier , but this time she pressed a yellow cross button .

As soon as she finished pressing it , a bright yellow lighting appeared under their feet and Wetin the twinkle of an eye the student teleported into the portal .

soon the voice of the lady sounded inside his head , before Beginning to have a conversation with the voice system , he stole a look at the fellow student traveling through the portal with him .

{ Jake , you are traveling down an helium 3 alchemy portal }. she informed Jake .

Jake whispered to the voice lady " what about the portal , where am I going " .

{ portal direction : unknown

the manufacturer of this portal did a great job , the act of breaking through the direction is way too hard }.

Jason pondered about the last question he is going to ask ," will I perform very well " he asked.

{ this portal have an high-tech surveillance system , everything you do or say out loud can be seen and heard , so be careful Jake }.

"ok am very hungry and tired , what can you do to help , am going to faint any moment from now " Jake asked .

{ don't worry Jake , endurance is going to do it work , 1 stat point of endurance last for one hour }.

" oh.. ok " as soon as he finished talking with the voice lady .

A bright light shone and soon all the students was swallowed into the light .

Jason appears in a deserted land accompanied with James and a girl with green hair.

" what! a desert " James shouted as soon as he appeared in the desert.

" anyway let begin with our mission , there is no time to waste , let get started " Jake answered, dusting the sand from his body .

" well Jason long time no see , it good we ended up in the same team , I hope you are still the genius I know " James said with a sign of hope written in his face .

He is happy that he ended up with Jason in a new team , remembering how Jason is always the one answering all the questions , and sometimes always the one to teach him anytime he found it hard to answer any questions.

the girl with them haven't spoke any word to the boys ,she kept on viewing from South to north ,and east to west ,she is the oldest in the group ,18 yrs precisely ,James 17 ,and Jason 16 .

" hi guys ,my name is emerald , can I know your name " she asked without facing them ,she is still afraid about the whole thing .

Emerald turned to face the boys , Jason eyes opened to see the beauty in front of him , James did the same .

" er..my name is Jason Chao ,n-nice to meet you " Jason said scratching his head though it wasn't itchy .

" my name is James " James answered but without scratching his head like Jason .

" Nice " she answered plainly , without a smile or a frown on her face .

the trio discovered their weapons , Jason got a katana , James spear and emerald archery ( bow and arrow ).

they started heading south ward , emerald was the one to instruct them , because she is the oldest among the trio .

they held their weapon , ready for any trouble that might befall them .

".. growl .." the voice of a wild beast sounded in the desert , James froze on the spot while Jason and emerald tried to notice the direction of the animal .

they spotted a yellow panther circling around them , readying itself for an attack .

" growl.."

James knelt on the floor trembling with fear , he turned his back to see the animal , as he spotted the animal he started sweating bucket .

" oh no .. I don't want to die , I don't want to die " James cried out while standing up , holding his spear .

" growl.." the beast seems to be waiting for the student to attack first , when he saw that none of them was ready to attack .

he took on the lead , by jumping up at least 4 feet , he started by attacking James .

" James , look out , the panther .. do something James you can't die here , be bold James " Jason shouted to James who is standing and doing nothing other than watching the yellow panther with fear .

' I need to do something ' Jason thought to himself , and he charge towards the yellow panther , moving his sword is a creative way ,like he was a cultivator in real life .

The system allowed him to use his speed stat very well ,and Jason made a good use of it .

" James look out " he shouted as he raised the katana in his hands ready to strike the panther .

the panther responded ,it used his tail to push Jason ,and Jason was flying without any control .

as he was about landing on the floor ,he responded and pierce his katana into the ground ,which helped him by slowing the speed of the fall .

soon he landed and he dashed toward the panther again ,this time without making any sound to draw the attention of the panther .

meanwhile emerald stood on the spot also afraid of getting injured by the yellow panther .

' Jason is good at least ,let me try and assist him ' she snapped out of her fear and she started running to the direction of the panther .

through her height and body build , she is able to run at an average speed ,not as fast as Jason .

Jason sneakily close up the distance between himself and the panther ,he looked at the direction of emerald ,he saw that she is no longer afraid ,she is also preparing for attack .
