chapter 3 :Mother and Son Adventure

Kara was sitting on top of Jonathan's farm barn, enjoying the afternoon sunshine, which had now become her habit for the last 6 years, a kind of ritual. At first he only did this to absorb the sun's radiation which is the source of his power. Every time he sunbathed, he would let his cells eat greedily from the sun's radiation, and he himself would just stare blankly into the distance. But now he was different, life with his family here changed him, not much but slowly things changed.

"5....4....3..."

Kara slowly counted down.

"2..."

"And one"

"MOMMM..." Clark

Floating down, Kara approached Clark right under the barn. Much time has passed, Clark is now as tall as his stomach even though he himself is 175 cm tall. standing face to face, Clark hid something behind his back.

"Em!!" Nervous, Clark tried to keep 'something' behind his back from being seen by his mother.

"Hmm?! Is there something for mom?"

"Close your eyes mom..."

Closing her eyes, Kara prepared to see something her son was carrying.

"Open your eyes mom"

Opening her eyes, Kara saw origami shaped flowers arranged in a paper bouquet.

'it looks like a rose, seen from the red color on the paper'.

"It's so beautiful... why did you make it?"

"Yeah, with Lana"

Smiling happily, he took and hugged the bouquet of flowers gently.

"This is the most beautiful gift I have ever received *smiles* Thank you darling"

Kissing Clark's forehead.

Clark smiled while blushing. Continuing to look at his mother, he waited.

"???.... Ah, bro... I want to go with mother somewhere."

*Nod*

"Hold mom's hand"

Reaching out his hand to Clark, Clark grabbed Kara's hand and held it. Blue energy was channeled into his body, Clark floated with Kara and flew somewhere.

** Sky **

3000 feet in the air

"Wow... I... Fly!"

Seeing Clark excited while flying made Kara happy. Of course, Clark doesn't fly independently with his own power. This is all thanks to Kara with his gravity manipulation. while creating a force field around Clark to avoid high-speed air friction when flying with him.

"Mommy look at me...I'm touching the clouds"

With his hand, Clark touched the clouds around him.

"*happy* wow.... "

"Please be careful*smile*"

While traveling at a speed of 900-1000 km/hour, Clark and Kara started talking about lots of things, about Clark, about his school, how things were going at school, how Lana was doing and other little things.

On the way, they also saw beautiful views on the surface and flew low enough to see the animals along the way.

"Mom, where are we going?"

"The place you like"

"Hmm?"

Clark watched their flying route trying to find clues and finally he saw a place he had only ever seen in a geography book.

"We're going to Nepal"

"Guess again"

"Um!!*thinking*"

"A tight but very high place"

"Squeezed place??" Trying to remember something.

"O.. H, Everest!"

"Yes Clark, your son is very smart."

"Mom...don't treat me like a child" blushed.

"I'm 6 years old, I'll be 7 years old in 1 month"

"Really!! Mom's little baby is already big..." Kara laughed softly as she teased Clark.

**Everest Mountain**

Seeing the mountains standing majestically below, it seemed to touch the deep blue sky. the legendary, snow-capped peak of Mount Everest shines like an incomparable jewel.

The clear weather provided a clear and sharp view, seeming to present the Mountain in all its glory.

"Mother... Look very beautiful"

Turning to see his mother, Clark was surprised to hear her words.

Time seemed to stop for Clark, he was very happy, he didn't expect to get a happy birthday from his mother.

Right at the top of the mountain, they landed and saw the beautiful view from there, Clark was very happy.

Clark's happy laughter accompanied by flying snow made Kara happy too.

Seeing his mother, Clark threw a lump of snow in his hand

Grabbing a handful of snow with her hands, Kara began to reply to Clark.

they ended up playing throwing snow all day, until they both got bored.

Seeing this, Kara decided to go home, especially since they had been here too long.

"Kal... Let's go home"

"Mommy's little baby is exhausted," jokingly teased Clark.

(If they were normal children they might have frozen to death before they could play on Mount Everest, but if they weren't normal children, they would be Kryptonian)

not as strong as kara, due to gradual power generation. Clark's superpowers began to emerge when he was 5 years old, although they were still limited, perhaps due to his age and the limited amount of time he had been exposed to sunlight. But gradually Clark will have greater strength with age.

Stretching out her hand, Kara took Clark and flew home.

"Today was truly amazing, thank you mom"

"But... why did mom give you a gift early?"

It's not that Kara doesn't want to tell, but telling her means she has to tell all the truth about Clark's past, and she doesn't think she's ready.

Sounds entered Kara's super hearing, she looked down at the origin of the sound. It turned out that one of the cities below was experiencing quite a big flood.

(looks like I have to fly higher, I don't want to ruin my birthday with the unpleasant spectacle of people drowning)

Making sure everything was safe for Clark, Kara  slid down.

** Flood location **

Hovering quite low above the city where there was flooding.

"Breniac"

Kara's clothes changed, from just a shirt and jeans, to a costume that combined blue, red and gold with a symbol like the letter S on her chest.

Hovering above the flood location, Kara activates 'That' power to prevent everyone affected by the flood from dying before Kara helps him.

(there's no way I would allow any casualties in my first debut as a superhero, it could be bad for my first image)

"Okay, where do we start first?"

After that Kara saved everyone in the city. While showing his appearance, Kara left a great impression on the people he saved.

**Smallville**

When Kara and Clark arrived in front of the house, Kara told Clark not to tell anyone.

"Even grandmother Marta and grandfather Jonathan"

"Yes... Can you Clark?"

"Yes...I promise not to tell anyone."

Smiling with satisfaction, Kara invited Clark into the house.

*House*

"We're going home," Kara and Clark said at the same time.

"welcome" ( Martha)

"You're home" (Jonathan)

"Yeah, we just went for a walk" (Kara)

"We went on a trip to a cool place" (Clark)

"Ho... How about telling grandma? Moreover, we have guests who will be happy to hear your story at the dinner table."

Appearing from behind Marta's back, Margaret shows herself. Turning to Kara, Clark asked permission to tell about his adventure today.

Kara nodded, so while they were eating together Clark started telling her about his adventures. Of course, he only talked about playing in the snow, which Margaret misinterpreted as going to the playground in the big city. but for all the kents, they could roughly guess where they were from.

If you are wondering why Margareth was at the Kent family's house. Margareth, after the incident 5 years ago she experienced trauma. But thanks to Marta who always visited and cared for her, Margaret began to recover from her trauma and because of that now Margaret and Marta were starting to get close like sisters, for Clark himself, Margaret already considered him like her niece.

Even though Margaret still doesn't like Kara, on the surface she doesn't really show it. especially now in front of him is Marta.

"How are you kara?"

"I'm always good, Mrs. Margaret."

smiling at each other, they shot each other venomous glances without anyone knowing. Same with Margaret, Kara doesn't like her either.

(Should I just drop the billboard at his feet)

(Instead of just scaring him)

*shiver*

Suddenly goosebumps rose on Margaret's neck. making Margaret stare at Kara even more with the most venomous gaze she could make for no apparent reason, she just felt like she had to do that.

(Yeah... let's just cancel that. Even though it will make her not come here as often, it will make me happy, but it will make Marta feel guilty for the rest of her life. Even though there is no proof that it was my doing)
