The Game is your new home

He looks exactly like me. He is smiling at me. That smile is not a good one. It's like how villains smile in the movies. And why I am stuck on this laptop? How it is possible? I tried to come out. But I can't see any screen or anything.

"Akhil. be cool. and stop trying to come out. You can't come out of this game until I let you come out of this game." He told me very softly.

I am getting angry over him. But I can't do anything as I am stuck on this laptop.

" Who the hell are you? why I am stuck in this laptop?" I shouted at him. But he is still cool.

" I am you, " He told and sat on the chair which is right in front of the laptop.

I didn't understand anything. So I told him what

" Okay. I am from a parallel universe where things go slightly differently than here. In my universe, Technology is a bit advanced. That's why I am able to travel to your universe." He started drinking water.

" So you are a time traveler?" I asked him

" No" He smiled " I am not from your past or future. I am from your present but from a parallel universe. "

" So why did you come here? " I questioned him

"Because your actions affect our life in our universe. Your actions make Sarah hate us. So I came here and locked you in this game to make Sarah as the wife of Akhil in this and in every parallel universe" He finished explaining to me.

So what I understood is some of my future actions make Sarah hate me. So another version of mine from the parallel universe came to this universe to make Sarah love me. I guess I need not be angry over him anymore. He is me. If I hate him, It is I am hating myself. No, I don't do that. Wait.. I guess I have one more doubt.

" Okay. You are another version of myself from a parallel universe. It's so exciting. But Can I know why did you lock me in this laptop?" I asked him my last question.

" As we are same creatures, we can not stay in the same physical space at the same time. That's why I sent you to this Super Ying game with my universe technology. You won't get bored. You can enjoy that virtual world and win Sarah always" He winked at me.

I smiled at him. So He didn't lock me in the laptop. He locked me in this game. Oh, boy! I feel very excited.

"So What are you gonna do next?" I asked him.

" I'll say it later. You can speak with me when I switch on the camera. Your game is going to start. I'll let you play yourself. Go and explore it." He clicked on a button.

I immediately get into a body of an animated creature. I can't see my room in the real world anymore. All I can see is the beautiful kingdom of Super Ying.

I am muscular with a six-pack body. I am dressed very well. I started loving this virtual world. In the real world, I am a thin teenager. I can't dress in high-end clothes as I am poor in the real world. But thanks to another version of mine. Because of him, I am able to live like this.

As I entered the court hall, I can already see other participating are sitting in their places. So I am late for this game. The court hall is very big. On each side, there are 25 seats. On the stage, there is a big chair. I guess that's where the princess sits. But that seat is vacant. I guess Princess has not arrived yet. There are also security guards everywhere.

"You're late. We wasted 10 minutes by waiting for you" said a Participant named Woxonar. As it is a game, I can read what they are saying on top of their head in a chatbox. In that chatbox, I can see their name too.

"You just shut up. He is my best friend Akhil" another participant named Rohunt told me. Who is this one.

" Hahaha. I am Rohan. Rohunt is my username. I am glad we are both alloted in the same game" He gave a high-five with his green-colored animated figure.

"Oh. That sounds cool" I lied to him. Because He and I have to fight for Sarah.

"Really? Do you want me to fight with you to win the Princess" He taunted me.

I didn't say anything. I don't know how to answer that.

" Don't get tensed. In this game, Princess is not a bot. So someone else is playing the princess game. So it will be like we both are fighting for a different girl" He finished saying and his words created doubts for me.

" Wait? But doesn't Princess supposed to be a bot?" I asked him.

" Yeah, but it is a Mega tournament game. So Princess also will be played by someone else. But Princess player has nothing much to do. That player has to select just options display in front of him." He explained the game to me.

" Him? " I again got a doubt.

" Yeah. Even though, Princess is a female in this game. The Princess player could be anyone male or female. Don't worry we won't be considered as gay " He tried to be funny.

" But what will be the gain for the Princess Player. I mean we play this game to win the princess. That's the goal of this game. But what will the Princess player get? " I asked him

" Coins. The Princess player gets some coins. They can use those coins when they play as participant players for some upgrades or something." He cleared my doubts.

I suddenly got a vibration in my body. I guess Rohan alias Rohunt also got that. He looked back. I also looked back.

Princess has come and so we have to go to the participant's place.

"Hurry up. Our coins will be down if we don't go in time" He started running.

I followed him. We both sat in our places. I looked at the Princess. If I am playing this from the real world, I would have exited the game as I don't like playing to win a Male Princess.
