57. Gamble
Alex made his way over to her and hugged her from behind before she could get any more wild and start destroying things in the casino.
"Tsuna-nee, I told you not to go to the Casino right?" Alex asked as he made sure to restrict Tsunade's movement.
"B-but I was bored". Tsunade protested like a kid that got her toy stolen from her.
"Haaa, how much did you lose now?" Alex sighed as inquired because he was sure that she must have lost a lot to throw a tantrum.
"I-" Tsunade tried to tel but was cut off.
"Oi, are you the legendary loser's brother! Then you must be a loser as well!" A Loud and rude voice interrupted their conversation as the nearby people laughed heartily.
Seeing his nee-chan being insulted, Alex's anger was ignited and He looked at the guy, dead in the eyes. "Let's make a bet. If I win all the money that she lost then you'll be a dog and bark three times outside the casino. If I don't then I'll do it".
Alex smiled maliciously and with anger as he faced the guy.
The guy stopped laughing for a while as he heard the bet but then started to laugh even harder. "You think you'll be able to win all the money back! Hahaha, the legendary loser's brother?" He laughed with tears in his eyes.
"Okay boy, if you win. I'll honour my bet but be prepared to bark outside". The guy kept on laughing as he said with a malicious grin on his face.
Alex ignored him as he took a seat next to Tsunade while looking at the dealer seriously. "Hey, get some chips worth a million credits". Alex waved his hand carelessly while instructing.
The dealer motioned a server on the side. The server went away immediately as he prepared to get the chips for Alex.
Alex had gambled here before with Tsunade. Although, he couldn't gamble himself at that time but he still put the chips down for her.
He had found out that with just his Haki, he can immediately tell the correct number where the ball would go.
"Alex-kun". Tsunade called him worriedly as she didn't want him to do this for her sake as she knew that he didn't enjoy Gambling.
Alex in return just took her hand and squeezed it tightly to reassure her. He then focused his attention on the table when he got the chips provided by the server and payed the credits.
The guy that insulted them will be humiliated first and then Alex will make sure that he disappears from the face of this earth.
"Guests please place your bets". The dealer said as he spun the roulette and let the ball go.
Alex used his Haki and placed the bet. "Rouge Pair 36". Alex let all his chips on the highest odds number as he knew that the ball would land there.
The odds of losing was the highest by placing your bet on a single number but the winning multiplier was also the highest.
Any single number pays out a total of 35:1. For every dollar that you place. You will get 35 credits for every 1 credit.
People surrounding him sneered when they saw a ten year old playing by placing all his money on 1 number.
This was the correct response by anyone when you see a ten years old placing bets like this. Still, they didn't know that Alex was cheating without even letting them know.
The casino had detectors. If anyone used their abilities but it couldn't track Haki as it wasn't an inherent awakened ability.
After some time the ball tumbled on the roulette wheel and landed exactly on Rouge Pair 36. The rest of the audience gasped as Alex just earned a hefty 35 million credits in one go.
"Tsuna-nee, how much did you lose?" Alex questioned as he was ready to win back all the money.
Tsunade heard his question and her face went red from embarrassment. "A billion credits". She whispered under he breath as she was really embarrassed about this.
"What?" Alex questioned again as he couldn't quite hear her.
"A billion credits brat!" Tsunade snapped as she twisted Alex's ear and shouted in his ear.
The audience and Alex both gasped when they heard this astronomical number being list in gambling.
"Tsuna-nee, you are hopeless". Alex facepalmed as he said that.
Alex thought that like usual, she would only lose about hundred to hundred and fifty million credit but who knew that she literally blew it up today.
Tsunade's face went a bit red from Alex's words. "Hmph, you winning the money back or not". Tsunade being the stubborn gambler that she is just put the pot on Alex's head without feeling guilty.
"Okay, okay, I will. Calm down". Alex placated with a wry smile and urged the dealer to continue the game.
The game continued and Alex kept on winning more and more money. Some people from the audience took this chance and started to gamble along with Alex.
The dealer was trembling and sweating while throwing the ball as he was losing money at an astonishing pace.
Alex had won back the money on just the second bet but now he was still not stopping and by the pace, he was going at. He was going to make the casino bankrupt.
"Guest, this table is closed for inspection. Please go to another table". A few bouncers came as they asked Alex to change tables when it got too much.
Alex just shrugged his shoulders when he heard them. "I am finished anyway. Just cash out my chips and I will that bitch bark like one". Alex got up and looked towards the escaping guy.
Tsunade got his cue and quickly intercepted the guy as she picked him up by the beck like a chicken.
"So little bitch, will you bark?" Alex looked into the guy's eyes as he forced him by focusing some conqueror's Haki on him.
"I-I will". The guy gulped nervously and agreed.
"Good". Alex nodded, satisfied with the guy's answer.
Tsuande let him go and watched him go outside the casino and bark like a dog. Much to her satisfaction.
"Let's go Tsuna-nee and here's your money". Alex took Tsunade's hand as he led the way towards her mansion in the entertainment district.
Tsunade smiled a bit as she let him pull her along to the villa.
