Part 38

Josh's POV

After a few hours of me and Justen cuddling, we both decided to head to our houses.

"You ready?" I asked.

"No, but my dad's going to think something is up if I don't go home," Justen said.

"Yeah," I said.

Justen groaned and put his head in the crook of my neck.

"Come on," I said, lightly shoving him off. "I'll even take you home."

"That sounds like a plan," Justen said, sounding tired.

"Are you tired?" I asked.

"Dude, it's like ten-thirty," Justen said.

I took my phone out and looked at the time. "Justen, it's only nine-forty-five," I said.

"Okay, I'm tired," Justen said.

"Alright, get up," I said.

Justen groaned once again but this time sat upright. I stood up before helping Justen up and leading him to my truck. Once at my truck, I let Justen inside the passenger seat and went to get his bike. After Justen's bike was in the bed of the truck, I began the drive down the familiar roads that led me to Justen's house.

When we got to Justen's house, I put the truck in park and gently shook Justen awake.

His green eyes fluttered open and he smiled.

"We're at your house," I said.

"Already?" Justen asked.

"Yeah," I said, opening my door and getting out of my truck.

Justen opened his door and got out too before following me to the back of the truck. He and I got his bike out of the bed of the truck before I looked at Justen.

"You gonna be okay?" I asked him.

"To be completely honest, even though your dad shoved me off a cliff and into a pond, I have never been doing better," Justen said. "And it's all because of you."

"I'm glad I can call you my boyfriend again," I said.

"Me too," Justen said. "But I've got to go into the house now."

"Okay," I said.

"One thing I want to do real quick though," Justen said, making me look at him.

He kissed me and I kissed him back.

"Is it too soon to say I love you?" Justen asked.

"Is it crazy that I was going to ask you the same thing?" I asked.

Justen smiled. "I love you," he said.

"I love you too," I said before watching Justen walk to the front of his house.

Justen put his bike against the side of the house, walked to the front door, waved at me, and disappeared inside the house. I stood in the driveway for a few more minutes before I got into my truck and drove back to my house with thoughts of Justen in my mind.

Justen is funny, cute, hot, and, though he can be depressing sometimes, he is the happiness I need in my life. He feels like my home away from home. Justen actually makes me feel like I'm a someone rather than a no one. And what can I say except I love him?
