Beating up Ripper.

After he cooked himself a nice steak dinner, he took a shower and went to bed. He set his alarm as he did not know if he would forget to go to school considering the occasional issues he had. It was good that he set up several alarms so he managed to get dressed and head to school.

When he got there, he saw Kiba waiting for him at the entrance. Many girls were fawning over him, but he seemed to not have noticed. When he saw Vander he smiled and waved him over.

"Vander, how are you doing?"

"I am doing well all things considered."

Many of the guys watching cursed in jealousy at seeing Vander and Kiba. Vander was tall and naturally muscular while Kiba was the definition of a handsome guy. Issei and his perverted friends cried tears of jealousy as they could tell the girls were all looking at the two of them.

'Why are the Heavens so unfair?'

Kiba walked up to Vander, but he had to look up. He was not very tall, so he looked overshadowed by the 6'5 Vander.

"Rias wants to see you."

"Yeah, I know. We go now?"

"That would be for the best."

"Lead the way. I forgot where the club is."

He was not lying as he actually forgot.

Kiba sighed as he started to walk toward the Occult Research Club again. While they walked many overheard them so they started to gossip. The girls wondered why Rias wanted to talk to Vander. Some of the guys felt threatened as one of the two most beautiful girls wanted to talk to him.

What if Rias was madly in love with Vander?

Either way, Kiba led him to the old building into the club where Rias, Akeno, and Koneko were waiting. Rias sighed when she saw Vander.

"I heard what happened."

Vander nodded.

"Sorry about that. I didn't expect he would do that so fast."

Rias shook her head.

"Just be honest, you let it happen. You were fast enough to dispel the summon on Ripper before he ate Akeno. You were more than capable of stoping Terror, which I will not ask why. Can you be honest to me?"

Vander nodded.

"Fine, I admit it. I felt it would be for the best if I let Terror have a sacrifice. Am I in trouble?"

Rias looked at the file of the man and shook her head.

"You got lucky that man was a former pedophile who had harmed many kids. This was a lucky break, but next time be more careful. I can't have your pets killing innocent people. This one is going to have to be the last one. Can you promise that?"

"I can promise you to try."

Rias sighed.

"I will take your word. Class is about to start so you can go to class now. After school today we will train you to see what will suit you the best. My sister in law also said that if you are best suited for a queen piece she will use hers on you. I don't want to lie, I want you for my self.

However, I won't deny the best for your future. If you become a Devil and become strong in the future that will benefit my kind better than me hoging you for myself."

Vander smiled.

"I thought you were a greedy spoiled noble. I like you."

Her eyes twitched as she looked at him.

"I should not have told you anything."

"Alright, I will see you all later."

Vander walked out the door which made Koneko speak up as she ate cookies.

"Give him a minute."

Rias, Akeno and Kiba waited and they saw Vander walk back in.

"Where is my class again?"

After he got directions he returned to class and walked in. As he was going inside he saw a girl with glasses that shinned a bit when they looked at him. He saw her eyes widen like dish plates for some reason which he ignored.

Aika looked at his back with a laugh.

'I knew he was packing.'

Vander sat down in his chair as he closed his eyes again to go deep into his mind to deal with Ripper again. Ripper and Daisy were the hard challenge as they were truly made to be weapons. He had no idea when he would be able to control them properly, but the faster than better.

He appeared in front of Ripper who was ready for him. The Indoraptor roared excited to be abe to rip his master apart again.

"6th try buddy, I got a helper this time."

Terror appeared in front of Vander ready to help him subdue Ripper. Seeing that made Ripper bare his teeth as the shadows began to rise up like tentacles.

"Not going to happen bud."

Vander controlled the fake sun in the sky to brighten without increasing the tempteture which limited the amount of shadows Ripper had available. Terror took to the skies and began to use the wind and flames to boost his speed to attack Ripper.

Instead of being discouraged, Ripper seemed to like this more than Vander's kind attempts. The shadows that had grown super faint suddly began grow in side under the control of Ripper. He was using his own mana which was seperte from Vander's to increase the power of his shadows.

Seeing that made Terror excited as well as he charged straight into Ripper. He was not weak at physical combat as while he was small he had the condensed stregth of a Metriacanthosaurus in his body.

Ripper charged forward and lept into the air which caused him and Terror to hit each other head on. Terror was covered in flames and he used them to bite, claw and burn Ripper with each of his attacks.

The Shadows covered Ripper like a suit of armor and they could turn into diffrent weapons at his direction.

"Who said stelathy creatures could not fight like a berserker? Terror, why did you give up your advantage of the sky though?"

Terror ignored him so Vander decided to try something.

'I used to take martial arts classes so why do I not see if I can do something. Even though this is not my real body, who said I can't act like it is.'

Vander controled his mana to course through his body and charged right into the fight. It was time for him to use his High Human body for real. Ripper and Terror were totally unprepared for him to step in as they both thought him to be weak.

Just as the both of them were about to go into another exchange, Vander clentched his fist and punched Ripper in the face harder than he expected. He launched the huge hybrid several meters away while.

Vander looked at his fist in suprice as he did not expect him to be that strong. Ripper got up from the ground as it shook his head to get the shock from the blow. Now he looked at Vander differently as he was no longer a weakling trying to control him.

He roared at Vander as his huge front arms reached out with claws bare.

"Terror, leave this to me."

Terror was annoyed at having his foe taken from him, but he did as he was asked. Vander started to jump in place as fire and wind appeared on his legs and arms.

"You won't bully me anymore Ripper."

Through the soul connection he felt Ripper think 'That is what you think.'

He charged forward and jumped into the air to avoid the frontal bite. The tail came to whip him, but he waved his right hand to use the flames to blast him toward the ground. He placed his palm on the ground and gave a hard kick to Ripper's ribs.

He did a handstand as brought down his flaming leg down on Ripper's skull. The large raptor tanked the blow and grabbed the leg digging his claws into the flesh. He intended to rip off Vanders leg, but Vander raised his other leg and brought it down on Ripper again.

It forced him to let go of his leg which he landed on ignoring the pain. His pain tolerance was much higher than normal as High Humans were created by the gods for battle. The shadows around Ripper increased in size and shapes as Vander and Ripper were actually enjoying themselves.

Ripper seemingly had more respect for Vander than he had before.

"You annoying raptor. Fine, I will beat you into submission only once."

He charged forward jumping out of the shadow spikes that formed in his path. Ripper leaped into the air to dive toward him which Vander used to his advantage. He dogged backwards when Ripper landed as the shadows exploded despite the light being extremely bright.

Vander got right under Ripper's legs as and began to land blow and blow into the body of the huge hybrid. Ripper was 1.5 times bigger than the original and far stronger. Either way each burning blow was boosted by the wind so their impact was just as strong.

Vander did not stop punching as he landed close to 50 blows in 3 seconds. He finished it with a spinning leg kick to the head which knocked Ripper straight out. Vander fell right down ontop of him a panting mess.

"AHAHAHAH! I WON! TAKE THAT YOU ASSHOLE!"

Ripper was out cold, but Vander was more giddy than ever. He found out quite a bit about himself as a High Human. Him fighting Ripper in his soul scape was the safest place he could do it as memorized everything he did.

He could then bring out that in the real world. He got up as he noticed one of Ripper's teeth fell out. He picked it up and now he felt bad.

"Shit. At least you are part crocodile so your teeth will be back soon."

He looked at Terror who flew down to poke Ripper.

"Leave him be. Time for you to go home."

He waved his hand and sent Terror into his own familair space. He sat down in front of Ripper and poked him in the nose. That caused Ripper to wake up in a panic as he could not breath.

He backed away from Vander as he licked the spot where he was missing a tooth.

"Sorry about your tooth. It should be back-"

He shut up when he saw Ripper grunt a bit and a new tooth emerged good as new from his jaws.

"Right, magic."

He walked toward him and extended his hand to Ripper.

"We got to beat each other up or are we going to get along?"

Ripper sniffed his hand a bit before he placed his face on his hand. He felt the soul connection with Ripper stop being suppressed as Ripper accepted him. Seeing that made him so happy he straight up hugged Ripper.

That confused the Indoraptor as this sigh of affection was not something it was used too. Vander let go as he started to walk away.

"Rest already. I got to go."

Vander woke up and found out that not a lot of time had passed. Maybe 20 minutes, but their was still over 30 minutes for first period to be over.

'If taming Terror gave me Fire and Wind, I expect Ripper to give me shadow control.'

He could feel all the shadows in the room feel like he could control them.

'Sweet.'

He felt his mana stores were at half full which was not great. It also meant that if he wanted to he might be able to try to try again with Daisy. He felt through their soul connection that she was ready for him.

'No, Daisy is different from Ripper. He needed a beating, she does not.'

I still have 7 more creatures to deal with and they are all diffrent. Oh well, I will just have to be patient. Two in two days is not a bad trade or and I got Ripper.'

Ripper had a lot of potetiol as at the moment they were only getting started.

"Vander are you listening?"

"Yes Ma'am."

He once again got weird looks as the teacher was an old man. Vander could see his eyes twitching as he wanted to get mad at him, but didn't.

"Try to pay attention instead of sleeping all day."

"Alright."

The teacher went back to his lesson, but he checked on Vader a few minutes later who was once again in his soul space. Now he decided to try his luck with the Yudon. Hybrid of a Troodon and a Yutyrannous.

'Damn foreigner. Have no respect for adults.'

Either way, Vander did not care.
