Darkness. It surronded you. Everywhere you looked was pitch black, you felt nothing.

"Come over here!" A girl's voice whispered.

It grew louder, "Take my hand."

You felt a small hand slip into yours, and she began to lead you somewhere. In an instant everything was bright. You blinked a few times, trying to adjust your eyes.

"Hi it's nice to finally meet you!" The little girl giggled. Your eyes widened, it was Marlene. You not only recognized her from the game but from pictures you've seen of her and her mom.

"M-Marlene?" You stuttered out. She nodded and giggled again.

"No wonder my brothers like you, you're really pretty Miss [Name]!" Marlene smiled.

"You can call me just [Name]... I'm not... Dead am I?" You asked quietly. She took your hand again and began to walk with you.

"Of course not silly goose! I called you here!" She rocked yours and her hands back and forth.

"Why?"

She stopped and looked up at you, "Because I need your help and you need mine."

"What do you mean?" You were so confused.

"I need you to protect them [Name]. My brothers and they're friends. They're in terrible danger [Name], and you're the only one I know who can help!"

"Why me?" You asked.

"You already have the talent of portal access! I just need to sharpen your skills!" Her face was bright and a smile was streched from ear to ear.

"Will you help [Name]? Please?"

You nodded, "Ok. What do I have to do?"

Marlene pulled you to her level and whispered in your ear, "Just believe."

She let go of your hand, still smiling.

"Marlene where are you?" A woman's voice called.

"I have to go now [Name] good luck!" Marlene began to leave, you stopped her.

"I still don't understand!"

She ran up and hugged you, "You will."

"Marlene?" The voice called again.

"Coming Mommy!" Marlene yelled back.

"Bye [Name]!"

Marlene ran out of sight leaving you completely alone.

You stood and a wave of dizziness washed over you, it felt like the room was spinning.

"[Name]...[Name]!" You could faintly hear.

You opened your eyes, you were lying in your bed and Roxas was besides your bed. You looked at him and your eyes widened. He had a faint silver glow around him.

"What?" He asked curiously.

"I-I..." You rubbed your eyes. The glow was still there.

"Hurry and get ready, we're going shopping." With that Roxas and his silver glow walked out of your room.

'Was this because of the dream I had?' you asked yourself.

After you got changed and ready you ran downstairs and froze. Tifa, Cloud, Ven and Roxas waited for you downstairs they all had a faint glow around them. Tifa's was a pale yellow, Cloud's a baby blue, and Ven had a light green.

"Good morning [Name]. You ok?" Tifa asked.

You just nodded.

"We called Tifa over to go shopping with us for tonight." Cloud spoke up.

"Why do we have to go shopping?" You asked still staring at the glow around each of them. Cloud looked behind him to see what you were staring at then answered, "Xemnas sent over a messanger saying it was a black tie event."

Ven sighed, "I thought it was just dinner."

Cloud rolled his eyes, "So did I."

Tifa stood, "Well come on let's go!"

She linked her arms with yours and led you out, the boys dragging their feet behind you.

Tifa had managed to drag you to at least nine different stores in the mall, supposedly looking for the right dress. Cloud, Ven and Roxas had seperated hours ago to get there own tuxes. But knowing them they were probably sitting in the food court right now. Everyone in the mall had a glow around them which made you wonder if you were going insane.

"How about this one!" Tifa held up a fluffy pink sequinned dress with feathers You shook your head and she sighed, "You're so darn picky."

Tifa had already picked a simple dark blue dress that went to her ankles and showed her back. You started looking through the dress rack yourself afraid of what Tifa might pick out next. A clerk walked over. She had a pink glow around her.

"Hi, umm you guys need any help?" She asked.

"We're looking for a dress for her." Tifa pointed at you. The clerk looked you up and down and snapped her fingers.

"I know just the thing!"

She ran to the back and brought back a dark bag. She unzipped it and pulled out a black dress. Tifa looked at it then threw it to you, "Go try it on!"

You were pushed into the changing rooms, you quickly slipped on the dress and walked out.

"Perfect!" Tifa and the clerk yelled.

The dress went to a little below your knees, it had a halter top neckline, and showed off half of your back just like Tifa's.

"So?" The clerk asked.

You smiled and nodded, "I love it!"

You took it off and both you and Tifa walked to the register to pay for them. While the clerk was ringing up the price Tifa turned to you.

"Hey [Name]. Do you think...Cloud might still... You know, like me?" Tifa asked, biting her lip.

"Do you still like him?" You asked surprised.

She sighed, "I still love him. I don't think I ever stopped... But he might not feel the same anymore..."

You out a hand on Tifa's back and smiled warmly.

"He'd be crazy not to, and besides something tells me he feels the same."

Tifa smiled and nodded, "Thanks."

The clerk handed you the bags as Tifa handed her the credit card.

You both exited talking and laughing together. You spotted the guys at the food court. They stood when you and Tifa walked over.

"You girls ready to go?" Cloud asked.

You smiled, "Yupp!"

"Finally!" Ven groaned.

Cloud took Tifa's bag and everyone began to walk out and back to home. Cloud walked Tifa to Yuffie's house as you, Ven and Roxas went inside. You went up to your room to put away the dress for now. You heard Cloud walk in and pass your room to his room. You walked downstairs and sat on the couch besides Ven and Roxas.
