Summer Days *18*

It's weird retyping this entire series and posting it on here while I also do Winter Days. It's like a blast from the past. The past where I sucked at writing. Wow it's amazing I had people stick with my series through the first 20 or so chapters. They were HORRIBLY written x_x. I hope Ive gotten a little bit better....at least now I capitalize things...

Tifa unlocked Seventh Heaven's front door and let everyone inside. Everyone crowded in talking happily, some asking Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo different questions. "Would you three like anything?" Tifa asked. They politely shook their head no. "I'll take a Pepsi Tifa!" Zack yelled. Tifa rolled her eyes at him. She tapped Yuffie on the shoulder on her way to the kitchen area, "Come help me get drinks Yuffie." "So where are you guys from?" Axel asked in a bored tone. "Midgar." Kadaj answered simply. "I've been there before! Man is that place gloomy." Zack said leaning back in his chair. He crossed his arms behind his head in a relaxed position."Where are you staying?" You asked sitting in between Zexion and Riku. Yazoo smiled at you and answered, "There is a hotel in town we're staying at." Tifa walked out with a tray of different drinks, Yuffie behind her with a smaller tray of food. Everyone grabbed something. You just picked up a can of [SomeRandomDrink]."So how do you like Hollow Bastion so far?" Tifa asked. Kadaj and Yazoo's eyes glanced at you quickly as they answered, "It's beautiful." Tifa watched them glance at you and nodded nervously. Everyone's head turned towards the door as they heard it start to open. Cloud walked in with Angeal right behind him. "Those the new kids?" Angeal asked. "What do you think yo?" Reno yelled before chuckling with his brother. Angeal rolled his eyes walking over to the table, "I’m Angeal.""I'm Kadaj and these are my brothers Loz and Yazoo." Kadaj shook Angeal's hand. Loz and Yazoo did the same. Cloud walked in and sat beside Tifa. "Where's Auron?" Tifa asked. "Auron's back!?" Terra asked. Everyone else turned to Cloud and Tifa. "Yeah, he's with Cid right now. They stopped by his place to drop off his luggage." The room's mood lightened as everyone smiled talking about Auron. "Aw man!" Axel yelled covering his face with his hands. "You don’t want Auron to come?" You asked. He looked at you and his face became nervous as everyone stared at him. He shook his head quickly, "N-No Auron's cool. It's just I gotta go to work." "It's 3'o'clock already?!" Zack asked. Axel nodded and stood up from his seat slowly. Zack groaned and laid his head on the table. "How many people have to go to work?"You asked. More than half raised their hands. "Oh." They slowly got up complaining about work. You smiled to yourself at the fact you were off. They thanked Tifa and said bye to everyone. It left you, Cloud, Tifa, Angeal, Ven, Kadaj, Loz and Yazoo. "Wow I can’t believe that many people have to work. Man." You said.Ven chuckled, "I gotta go to work in a few minutes too." You sighed realizing you had no idea what you'd do for the rest of the day without your friends."Do you know where Around the Worlds is [Name]? We have to go there." Kadaj asked you. You opened your mouth when Cloud cut you off. "Why?" Loz looked at Cloud, Kadaj and Yazoo's eyes stayed on you, "One of the girls talked to the boss and convinced her to give us a job, now do you know where it is or not?" Angeal got up, "I'll show you." Kadaj and Yazoo's eyes left you to look at Angeal. Angeal walked towards the door but stopped when he realized they weren’t following. "You coming or what?" He asked holding the door open. They walked out after saying bye to you and the others. "I don’t like them." Cloud said as soon as the door shut. Tifa nudged him. "Right there with you bro." Ven said holding his hand up for a knuckle touch that Cloud never returned. Cloud just looked at him then back to you and Tifa. Ven threw his hands up shaking his head. You giggled."They're new Cloud you don’t know anything about them yet." Tifa shrugged. Cloud shook his head in disagreement."Well I gotta go. Don’t miss me too much guys." Ven said walking out of the door."Well we have to work too [Name], so if you wanna stay and help..." Tifa began but Cloud stopped her and handed you 50 munny. "Go check out the mall kid." You giggled as Tifa slapped his arm and Cloud just shrugged. "Bye Guys!" You said walking out.

You walked around the mall looking at all the different shops when a certain blonde caught your eye in a nearby skate shop. It was called ' and the shop's sign was decorated with different skateboards. You walked in looking around. "Hey what are you doing here?" Roxas voice asked from behind you. You turned around smiling. Roxas had a tan beanie on his head and around his neck was a name tag. "Nice beanie." You said. He felt his head and blushed, "Y-Yeah it's our uniform basically." You giggled and let your eyes explore around the store. "It's nice in here." He nodded, "Yeah I like working here and the pay's not that bad either." You smiled warmly at him. "Do you skateboard?" He nodded with a chuckle. Roxas scratched the back of his head sheepishly, "Yeah, I'm not as good as some of the guys in here but I try." "I’m sure you're fine. So, what would 50 munny get me?" You asked holding up the munny Cloud gave you. Roxas looked around, "Maybe a pair of kneepads and a helmet. If it's on sale that is." Your mouth dropped. "Is it that expensive in here?" Roxas nodded and closed your mouth with his hand. You blushed at the contact. "Ok so how about if you buy the kneepads and I'll throw in a free skating lesson?" Roxas asked blushing lightly. You smiled, "Deal." You handed him the munny. He took it and left, when he came back he had a pair of dark blue kneepads and a matching helmet. "Its on sale?" You asked. He shrugged, "Nah, but we don’t want you getting hurt do we?" You smiled and took the items. With a happy grin you wagged your finger at him playfully, "Im holding you to that lesson Strife."You walked around a little before returning back to he food court with the 50 munny still in your pocket. You walked over to the smoothie stand called The Yellow Mango. "Well hello there." You said smiled. Riku spun around and his eyes widened when he saw you."[Name]?" He asked in shock. He was wearing a yellow apron with a hat that made it look like a cup of smoothie was sitting on his head. He glanced upward with his eyes and took off his hat. "Um Hey." You giggled, "I like your hat." He half smiled and took it out from behind his back. "Yeah we didn’t get to choose our uniforms." You thought for a minute, "Oh wait! Sora works here with you right?"Riku nodded, "He went out to pick up a delivery of fruit." You nodded, "So what'll 50 munny get me?" He smiled, "About 100 smoothies." Your eyes widened, "Really? wow. That’s pretty cheap." Riku shrugged, "The guy who owns this stand is pretty rich. One of the richest guys in Hollow Bastion." You nodded and handed him the munny, "Two smoothies please!" Riku smiled and took the munny, "Why two? And what type do you want?" You rolled your eyes and pointed to you then him, "Surprise me." Riku nodded and began to make the smoothies. You watched him work as he swiftly moved about the stand taking ingredients and mixing them together. After he finished he handed you your smoothie. You took a big sip and smiled."This is good." Riku returned the smile and handed you back your munny, "Thanks.""Hey I gotta pay." You complained. Riku shook his head, "On the house."You walked around and finally decided on a small Smoothie stand called The Yellow Mango. You walked over and smiled when you saw Sora sitting on the counter wearing a hat that made it look like a smoothie was sitting on his head. He also wore a yellow apron. "Sitting on the job are we?" You asked walking up to him. He jumped off the counter and looked at you. His face turned into a grin, "[Name]! Hey what are you doing here?" You shrugged, "I don’t really know. Just looking for something to do." Sora nodded, "You wanna smoothie?" You shrugged, "Sure how much is it?" Sora smiled, "Half a munny! But you don't have to pay." You shook your head, "Sora won’t you get in trouble if I don't pay? It's only half a munny. I have 50." Sora waved you off, "The guy who owns this stand is like crazy rich he'll be fine. Besides if it makes you feel better I'll take it off my paycheck." Sora turned around to start making you something. You watched as he began to mix things skillfully. All his attention was focused on this one thing. He stopped and handed you the smoothie with a big smile on his face, "Here, it’s called the Paupoi Fruit Smoothie. It’s my favorite." You tried it. "Wow this is good Sora!" Sora smiled, "I’m glad you like it [Name]!"You walked around when a large store caught your eye. It was huge, not as big as Around the Worlds, but it was still big. It was called Mick's Sporting Goods. You walked in and began to look around at all the different sporting equipment."Boo!" Terra yelled jumping from behind a shelf. You jumped letting out a startled cry. After calming down your racing heart you punched him playfully, "Terra!" He shrugged laughing, "I’m sorry it was too easy!" He was wearing a pair of tan pants with a dark blue collar shirt. On his shirt was a small white name tag with his name on it."I didn’t know you worked here." You said he nodded, "Yupp. Its pretty cool working here, I get discounts on all my gear for football. Zack too." You looked around, "Zack work's here?" Terra nodded and smirked, "Yeah but he's working the display today. We flipped a coin. He lost." You giggled and opened your mouth to say something when a voice cut you off. "Terra Get back to work! I’m not paying you to flirt!" You didn’t recognize the voice. Terra rolled his eyes, "Sorry [Name]. I gotta go." You waved him off, "No problem." He walked off and you continued to look around. On your way out of the store you passed a large mannequin display that had each of them dressed as an athlete using the store's equipment. After a quick glance at it you continued to walk past. You paused as the feeling if being watched washed over you. You turned around only to realize the football mannequin was in a different position. You walked over and tried to get a look at its face since it was covered by the helmet."Hey." It whispered and you jumped back. It began to move and shake with laughter. It pulled off it's helmet to reveal Zack smirking. "Did I scare ya?"You crossed your arms, "No." Zack nodded, "Sure. So you just nearly jumped out if your shoes for the fun of it?" You rolled your eyes, "What are you doing?" Zack pointed towards where he was just standing, "Modeling. We lost a mannequin so someone had to dress like a football player and stand there. Terra thinks he won. Psh, I'm getting paid to stand around and scare cute girls." You blushed at his compliment and tucked a strand of stray hair behind your ear. "What are you doing?" Zack asked tucking the helmet under his arm. He was still in all his pads and fake jersey which you had to admit looked very handsome on him."Looking for something to buy." You held up your munny. "Oh I know what that would get you." Zack said with a knowing smile. "What?" You asked innocently. Zack leaned his face closer towards yours, "A kiss." You blush painted your face again. "FAIR!!"Zack jumped, "Sorry sir!" He grabbed his helmet and jumped back onto the pedestal he was modeling on. You smirked, "Aw did the big bad boss scare you?" Zack smirked and put his helmet on. He gave you one last wink, "I was kidding anyways [Name]. I wouldn't make you pay anything for a kiss."As you walked there was one shop that really caught your eye. Cid's Gummi Repair. You walked in looking at all the different parts. "[Name]?" Leon asked walking out from behind a counter. He wore his normal clothes. "Hey Leon I didn’t know you worked with Cid." You said still looking around.Leon nodded with a sigh, "I do. Its hard work with little pay but it's all they had left." You giggled at his comment mainly because it sounded like what CID would do to his employees. Especially if he knew them like he knew Leon."Leon you giggling boy?!" Cid asked walking out from behind a curtain that separated the back of their shop from the front. "[Name]? What you doin’ here darling?" You shrugged, "Just looking around Cid." Cid nodded," Well get back here I wanna introduce you to someone."Cid walked back to where he came from through the curtain. You began to follow but stopped and smiled at Leon. "Bye Leon." Leon nodded his head at you returning to where he was behind the counter. "Cid?" You asked peeking your head behind the curtain. It looked like a small workshop. There were spare parts scattered around and two smaller Gummi ships parked."Over here!" Cid called. You walked in seeing Cid and Auron sitting at a table."Hi." You waved at Auron smiling. "Still look like Marlene to you??" Cid asked punching Auron's shoulder. Auron sighed, "Nice to meet you, My name is Auron." You nodded, "I’m [Name]." Auron smiled lightly, "I’ve heard."You returned the smile, "So I hear that you teach self defense and fighting?" Auron nodded with a slight look of surprise worn on his face. Cid set down the wrench he was about to use and scratched his head."Why kiddo?" Cid asked. "Tifa wants me to learn from him." You explained. You turned to Auron and added, "If that's ok with you though."Auron nodded, "Sounds fine. I'll probably start next week some time. Tell Tifa." You nodded, "I will."You walked into the monster sized movie theater, they had like 18 screens all playing different movies. "Its popcorn lady! No, I don’t know it's fat content! Just stick it in your mouth and chew yo!" You giggled hearing Reno's voice. You walked over where he was talking to a tall blonde lady. The lady dumped the popcorn bucket over his head and walked away. You walked up to Reno who was still wearing the popcorn bucket on his head. You stood on your tip toes and took the bucket off. His eyes widened when he saw you, "[N-Name]?!" You smiled, "Hey Reno." Reno blushed lightly, "Did you see that?" You nodded and he groaned. "Today’s just not my day. I hate this stupid job." You chuckled and picked some popcorn out of his hair. "Why do you work here then?" Reno shrugged, "I thought it'd be cool. And it pays really good." You shook your head smiling. He smirked, "What are you doing here?" You shrugged looking around, "I thought I'd come see a movie, but watching you get popcorn dumped on your head was way funnier than any movie." You smirked at the blush that crossed his cheeks. He coughed and sheepishly shuffled his feet, "Yeah.."You put your hands up and smiled at him ,"but if it makes you feel any better I won’t tell anybody." Reno smiled, "Promise?" You smiled back at him and took some more popcorn out of his hair, "Promise."You walked into Around the Worlds nonchalantly. "[Name]!" You heard someone whisper. You looked around trying to find who called your name. "Over here!" They hissed again. You peeked behind a bar to see Axel. "Hey." He said smiling. You looked around and he dragged you into his hiding place. "What are you doing?" You asked. He shrugged, "Hiding duh." He was dressed like a pirate so you guessed he was working Port Royal today. "From what?" Axel peeked over the top, "Larxene. But Kairi too." He shuddered. "She won’t leave me alone and it's driving me crazy." You giggled quietly at his expression. "You think that's funny?" You nodded, "Kinda yeah." Axel sighed and set his head on his arms in a defeated way, "What are you doing here?" You mocked him, "Hiding duh." Axel poked you in the side and you jumped, "Ok I came to visit this place." "You just wanted to see me in my sexy pirate costume didn’t you?" Axel smirked. You blushed, "What?! No!" Axel smirked, "Yeah sure." You straightened yourself up, "I did not!" He dragged you back down. "Shh." You blushed at the contact and the fact he left his warm hand wrapped around your wrist. "AXEL!!!" Larxene's voice yelled. "Man." Axel sighed. You smirked triumphantly and stuck your tongue out at him. He sighed and stood.Angeal led them towards Around the Worlds. "Here." They began to walk inside when Angeal stopped Kadaj. "Watch yourself around [Name]." Kadaj pulled his arm free ignoring Angeal's comment. He continued walking with one last backward glare at Angeal."This should be interesting." Kadaj commented to his brothers. Loz nodded. Yazoo whispered, "It will be very interesting brother."You walked out and Tifa sighed. Cloud shrugged, "What? I just gave her some munny to have fun Ti."Tifa sat down, "That isn’t what I’m worried about." Cloud sat beside her, "The new kids?" Tifa looked at him, "Did you see the way they looked at her? She has every guy wrapped around her finger and she doesn't even realize it." Cloud nodded and wrapped his arm around her shoulders. With his other hand he held her hand, caressing the back of it with his thumb."I’m just worried about her Cloud. What if she gets hurt?" Tifa asked with a thick tone of worry in her throat.Cloud rubbed her back, "Its gonna be ok Ti. I promise. [Name] will be fine."
