Chapter 29: Fast Forward... 2

= Midnight =

The Gray Terminal is on fire. Ace, Luffy and Rin is being tied up at Bluejam's hideout that is now burning for not telling Bluejam where their treasures is. Luffy is crying and Ace is trying to free themselves by cutting the rope tying them with a piece of glass.

"Ace, can you cut it?" Rin calmly asked Ace.

"IM TRYING HERE!!" Ace said with irritation.

"Waaaah!! Hot! It's hot!!" Luffy cries.

"Luffy, calm down." Rin told Luffy.

"Stop talking like your not in danger!!" Ace yelled.

"... Sorry, when I'm scared I kinda lost all senses..." Rin said. ' Even though I know Ace will cut the rope, I'm still scared of the fire around us... '

*snap*

The rope finally split apart from Ace cutting it.

"Yes!" Ace shouted. "Damn! We didn't wanna be involved in this!"

"We can't get away! I don't wanna die!" Luffy cries.

"I'll leave you behind if you don't stop complaining!" Ace yelled.

"It's not hot!" Luffy said to not make Ace leave him.

"Ace, I don't know the way around here..." Rin said.

"Fine... follow me!" Ace ordered.

They went outside of the hideout.

"That's weird... if the boxes that we carried is filled with explosives, the fire should've spread more." said Ace.

"I rigged some of the boxes cause I don't believe Bluejam." Rin told Ace.

Ace is surprised by what Rin said but still focused on getting them out of there.

"I wonder if those old men escaped safely." said Luffy.

"This is no time to be concerned about other people!" Ace said angrily. "Damn! I don't even know where I am."

"Who said you could go away you brats?!" said Bluejam who suddenly came from behind.

Bluejam pressured them to tell where their treasures is.

"Don't be ridiculous, that treasures is-" Luffy got cut off by Ace.

"Alright, I'll tell you." Ace said.

Before he tell where the treasures is Rin stop Ace by saying "The military already took it..."

Ace look at Rin and ask "What do you mean?"

"The place where we hide the treasures is empty..." Rin answered. ' I'm sorry I lied... '

Bluejam got very angry and told his crew to grab a hold on them. Luffy escaped from their grasp and tried to fight a pirate but got injured and was about to get stab.

"Don't touch Luffy!" Ace shouts.

A wave of intimidation swipe through everyone and causes them to fainted except Ace, Luffy, Rin and Bluejam.

' That's Conquerer Haki! There's only three people who might be able to do it right now. It could be Ace who let out his Haki unknowingly to save Luffy, but it could be from Luffy to save himself without realizing and it could come from Dragon but I don't see him anywhere... ' Rin thought as she look everywhere and ran to check on Luffy.

Ace also ran to see if Luffy's alright. "Luffy! Are you okay?" Ace said worriedly.

Bluejam grab Ace by his neck and threw him.

"Damn." Ace said from the pain.

"You creepy brat!" Bluejam said with anger. Bluejam was about to shoot Ace. Rin got caught up in the moment and ran to him.

"ACE!!" Rin screamed.

*Bang*

Fortunately, Dadan came just in time and push the gun to another direction. Dadan came with the other bandits. Dadan told everyone to retreat but seeing Ace didn't run away, Dadan changed her mind. She told the bandits, she'll bring Ace back so they should get Luffy treated. Everybody except Dadan and Ace ran away.
