Before the beginning of time, Primordial Origin was born as the consciousness of every creation as it manages each dimensions, realms, and multiverses which helps it balance its existence. However, eons ago the Entity of Darkness was born. A creature formed by the evil and enmity of the different kinds of races. The Entity of Darkness and the Primordial Origin battled against each other for ages. Until the Primordial Origin sacrificed itself to seal the Entity of Darkness until it's worthy successor becomes powerful enough to destroy it. The Primordial Origin left a figment of it's consciousness which was also called a 'System' for it's successor to use. That Successor was Qin Tianlong. He was chosen to become the Successor of Primordial Origin and train in the Dimension of Dreams and Imagination where his race's fictional reality were located until he became strong enough to ascend into the Divine Realm and stand with gods. With this great opportunity, will Qin Tianlong be able to overcome what his predecessor couldn't do and destroy the Entity of Darkness?

An immature, cute and handsome little boy jumped in happiness and with a smile on his face.
This little boy was Qin Tianlong. A reincarnated person from Earth who was chosen as the Successor of Primordial Origin in order to someday reach the Divine Realm and stop the Entity of Darkness which was currently sealed away.
The remaining power of the Primordial Origin was materialized into something familiar to his race. It formed itself to become a System and made him train at the Dimension of Dreams and Imagination where humanity's fictional worlds was located.
He was lucky enough to be dropped into the world of Battle Through the Heavens where he started as an adopted child by the Family of Xiao Yan.
He was the same age as Xun Er and was still 4 years old whilst Xiao Yan was 5. It had been a year since Xiao Yan's mother, Gu Wenxin, died. She was a beautiful and caring woman who treated Qin Tianlong like her own son.
Her cause of death was something that he couldn't stop as he didn't even know why she died. Regarding her surname, he was a bit surprised. During his time on Earth, when the first Battle Through the Heavens drama was released, Gu Wenxin was an exiled member of the Gu Clan.
Not only that, she was also the younger sister of Gu Yuan! Meaning that she was also Xun Er's aunt and Xiao Yan's cousin. Although he hadn't watched the drama, he still read the summary of it, therefore he was greatly surprised when even the plots in the drama was right.
Before she had died, after Xun Er arrived at the Xiao Family, Qin Tianlong had suspected her of knowing her niece's identity. Even Xun Er had most likely known that she was her aunt.
Sadly, she still passed away after giving Xiao Yan the ring with the spirit of Yao Lao.
If only he had watched the drama for information then he most likely would have prevent her death. However, there was no medicine for regret and didn't know that he would be someone who could only be the main characters in novels.
He sat down and checked his current status.

The System was pretty simple and was not that hard to understand. Earning experience points was hard though. There was three ways to earn experience points. One was to cultivate, second was to kill humans, beasts, monsters. And third was taking Qi from treasures.
For his age and little body, killing was out of the question besides, he wasn't a murderer hungry for power. As for taking Qi from treasures, although there were treasures at the Xiao Family's vault, he wasn't a thief and ungrateful to steal from the people who raised him.
Therefore his only way was to cultivate like any other. For him, cultivating was very fast. The System let him absorb the Qi in the air better and strengthen it more.
Besides those, he was also someone who liked using swords. The first and only skill he had was given to him by Gu Xianwei when she had discovered that he had potential at using swords. Although he couldn't carry metal swords yet, that didn't stop him from practicing using wooden swords.
When it was given to him, he was surprised as it was a Di Rank Sword Art. Most likely obtained from her travels or the Gu Clan. [1]
In the world of Battle Through the Heavens, their skills ranked into four with the sub-classes of low, mid and high. Lowest was the Huang rank going to Xuan rank, Di rank, and the highest Tian rank. [2]
Di Ranks were extremely expensive not to mention a high rank one. Therefore he was thankful of Gu Xianwei.
After narrating the important things that mostly happened to his life to himself, Qin Tianlong looked up the bright orange skies that started to darken.
"Rain is coming. Better get back home."
He picked up his wooden sword on the side and started sprinting back to the Xiao Manor.
Rain started dripping down fast while thunder started roaring from the skies. A storm was most likely coming. He started sprinting faster from his training area in forest with some trees suddenly dropping down from behind him.
"This storm is most likely not ordinary!", he muttered without looking back from the fallen large trees. He didn't expect for a large storm to suddenly appear out of nowhere after his training.
As he was running past the trees, he suddenly heard a cry nearby. "Help! Someone!", looking at the direction of the voice, he spotted a girl about his age, with her foot stuck under a collapsed tree.
His eyes widened and recognized the girl.
Xun Er!
What was she even doing here?
He spared no time and immediately ran towards the latter. He held his sword using his left hand and slashed towards the tree her foot was covered with.
"First Style: Crescent Moon!"
A white crescent flew towards the tree and split it in half. Xun Er didn't have time to react as she was immediately picked up by Qin Tianlong with a princess style carry and immediately left the place.
Qin Tianlong didn't know why the girl came here. It was known that it was explained in Battle Through the Heavens that after Xun Er had arrived to the Xiao Family, she was quiet and cold compared to the future Xun Er. However it all changed when Xiao Yan saved her from a beast in the forest when they were young which made the girl's attitude change greatly.
But clearly, that hasn't happened yet and the girl was still cold as ice. But after his act of saving a damsel in distress, would it change the plot?
He didn't really care about changing the original plot of the story. After all, just his existence already changed it greatly. There was no use sticking to the canon like a coward who wanted to be safe by following it.
If he really was like that, then would he even be able to defeat his future enemies?
As they left the forest area, a man suddenly appeared, floating in the skies with a smile.
"Truly an astonishing young fellow the young miss has chosen."

After a while, they had finally arrived at the Xiao Manor and went to look for a pill to help her heal the bruise in her foot. After giving her the pill, he looked at her seriously and asked.
"Why were you in the forest?"
She puffed her cheeks and showed a cute expression. "I was trying to look for you of course!", he was a bit aback with her unexpected answer.
"Why would you look for me?"
"B-Because I wanted to warn you about the storm!", she replied with a bright red glow on her face.
Qin Tianlong had noticed her red face and as someone who never experienced love in the past, he lacked common sense regarding that matter and thought that she was sick.
He placed his forehead over hers and to check her temperature. Xun Er turned even red as she pushed him away. Though Xun Er was still four, she still knew about the matters of a man and woman from her father as she was clever.
However, the same couldn't be said for Qin Tianlong who had a confused look on his face.
Why was she acting like this? Could I really have changed her attitude when I saved her?
Xun Er jumped out of her seat and immediately ran out of Qin Tianlong's courtyard leaving him with a confused expression.
Did I perhaps do something wrong?
