The unforeseen

"Today, 26th of July 2032. At exactly 9:50 am, this cloning trial started" Larry announced.

Then the nurse felt Robin's pulse rate and pulled his eyes upward "Pulse rate normal, patient is conscious" The nurse reported

"Good" Larry said

"In the right state of mind I inject 0.5ml Anes-370, anesthesia to last for 2 minutes the anesthetist said and injected it into Robin.

The anesthesia is used to relieve pain and anxiety during the operation. At that point Robin became conscious of all that is happening but felt no pain in anyway as they continued.

"With already checked dosage, I inject 3mls of combined somatic fluids of tamed lion, tamed tiger, dog, hare, and squirrel for cloning" the veterinary doctor declared and administered the injection. Immediately they covered robbing with a thick theater cloth and passed him through high ultra sound to see the physiological interactions.

"Every metabolic reaction needed will commence in 30 seconds of injection, he will be out in a minute" Larry declared

They watched in a screen as each fluid moved to their specific sites and started interacting with its similar cells immediately.

"Wow!" Molly said in amazement. In a minute, they pulled him out.

"Are you ok?" Larry asked as the nurse pulled off the cloth and they looked at him keenly to observe any obvious change.

"Yes" he replied with a smile.

For a while, they seemed confused because of no immediate changes. Just immediately, he quickly pulled the bed sheet.

"Robin are you ok?" Larry asked

"Yes, I just tried to adjust my hands" he replied

"That's fastness" the veterinary doctor observed and noted

"His eyes" the anesthetist called their attention, pointing to his eyes.

"Yeah, my eyes move faster than normal, everything is distinct and clear." Robin confirmed

"Good, please note that down" Larry told the veterinary doctor "Now, how do you feel?" Larry asked

"I feel ok but not perfect as normal. Something changed, my strength, I can confidently pull a trailer right now" he said laughing "I can perceive the mildest thing ever unlike before" he added.

While he explained he made involuntary gestures and movements, which are beyond his control. The veterinary doctor took note of all this.

"Now, Robin I want you to control your mind and brain. Tell yourself what you want to do" the veterinary doctor instructed

"What exactly?" Robin asked to be clarified.

"Maybe, I want to become a dog" he replied

"Ok" Robin said. In seconds, right under their supervision Robin turned into a dog slowly.

"Wow!" Larry acclaimed. Molly couldn't hold back her tears as she covered her mouth with her hands.

"This is marvelous" Douglas said with his eyes wide open as Robin barked

"This is impossible" the nurse stated

"Good, Robin if you can hear me please turn back to human" the veterinary doctor instructed and slowly he turned back to human breathing a bit harder

"How do you feel?" Larry asked

"I feel good he replied with a bold smile. Then Larry put up his thumb to Molly smiling. Immediately she hugged Douglas tightly in tears saying "Mission accomplished"

At this point a new scientific innovation is birthed. A clearly improved cloning method is envisaged. Not only a cloning method but one with a biological, technological, time and cost advantage.

For a while they are carried away, as they asked Robin of what to do which is within the research outcomes and he did it. At some point, the nurse looked at the electronic sphygmomanometer and frowned "Doctor his blood pressure" she said "Its increasing at a high rate" she noticed. Immediately, Robin changed to himself breathing harder.

"What's wrong" Molly asked amidst confusion and fear as she tried to rush into the theater

"Wait, they will handle it" Douglas said pulling her back.

"I'm losing it" Robin shouted amidst fear breathing harder and faster, this time he kept pulling himself up and down as he is being held by the veterinary doctor and anesthetist

"Calm down, Robin and talk to me" Larry asserted

"My head is banging" he said pushing his head backward to raise his neck and tilt his throat up "I'm losing my mind, please help me" he pleaded now in tears.

"Relax Robin, I'm here with you" Larry assured

There is tension in the theater, Doctor Larry is lost in confusion of what went wrong, while he tried to calm him down. The nurse rushed round to get injections ready in case he becomes unconscious. The anesthetist and the veterinary doctor tried to hold him down from wounding himself. Douglas and Molly are restless as they couldn't define what's going on. Molly began praying which she never did in her life. The classical is still playing but now harder with rough bits and sounds sequel to the present situation in the theater.

With time Robin began calming down slowly, but was losing consciousness. His eyes began closing helplessly.

"No" Molly shouted and rushed into the theater and held his hand "Robin" she called out in a high tone "Please stay with me" she cried

"Ma please step aside" the anesthetist asked pulling Molly to his back.

At this point, Robin is unconscious, "Robin can you hear me?" Larry asked meanly but got no reply. "Let's administer a CPR" he instructed. The veterinary doctor quickly took his position and began pressing hard against Robin's chest with his two hands.

"Please get the heat system ready" Larry said to the anesthetist. Amidst the chaos in the theater the nurse passed all the injections she prepared to Larry in a rushy manner as he injected them

"6,7,8,9,10…" the veterinary murmured as he pressed against Robin's chest hardly

"Come on, come on, come on" Larry uttered looking at Robin

"Heat ready, 60 degrees" the anesthetist announced as he dragged the two pressing iron-like instrument he had and pressed it on Robin's chest. The shock pulled Robin up as he pressed it on him. Then the nurse felt the vein close to his neck and said "No pulse"

Now Molly cried even harder while Douglas had his hands at the back of his head in confusion.

"We go again" Larry declared sweating

At the end of the second CPR section. The nurse still affirmed "No pulse". His consciousness was almost dropping to coma when he sneezed to everyone's surprise.

"Robin" Molly called out loudly as she rushed to him and held him "Please stay with me" she pleaded in tears

"I'm sorry, I'm passing out" he managed to say weakly as his eyes began closing again and he shifted his head to the right slowly.

"No, Robin don't do this please" Molly shouted in fear and tears

Larry and his team restarted the CPR again but it seemed not to be working. They did all they could but all to no avail. The veterinary doctor kept on pressing his chest to revive him hopefully but there is no sign of life.

"Come on Robin" he says while he pressed his chested harder and the nurse busted into tears. Larry stopped the CPR after so many attempts, carried out all death assessment and stood still, at the same time everyone became gloomy.

"What's going on" Molly shouted in confusion but got no reply.

Just then, the classical stopped playing.
