I Am Karma

Victoria stood at the door of her bedroom with her arms folded across her chest as she watched Emeka pack his things he left in her apartment. She noticed he was packing everything, including the things he used to leave at her place for times that he came to spend the weekend, he was obviously packing all his things because he won't be coming back. 

"So when am I going to be seeing you again?" Victoria asked him in a calm voice.

"Um, I really don't know for now. I have a lot of work to do this period, so I won't have the time to travel," Emeka said avoiding her eyes as he zipped up the duffel bag in which he packed his things.

"I can come over to Abuja, I need a break from work anyway," Victoria suggested.

"Um, don't you have Joan's wedding to plan?"
