Complicated

Four hours earlier

Steve was in his office going through the memo of the last meeting he had with some of his team members when he got a call from Chloe.

"Yes?" Steve, answered the call.

"You are yet to get back to me on the issue we both discussed the last time," Chloe said.

"And what could that be?" The last time he went to visit her, she told him she needed some money, which he had already given her. So what issue was she then talking about?

"Steve, I told you I don't want to have my child out of wedlock. I don't want to be a baby mama."

Steve slowly massaged his temple as he resisted the urge to shout at her. He motioned for his assistant who was in his office, to excuse him. "Let's do this later," he mouthed to her.

"Steve are you there?"

Steve waited for his assistant to leave before he answered, "yes Chloe, I'm here."

"Did you hear what I just said?"
