Being Jealous

It was evident that Joan was jealous because she saw him talking to the interior designer; it was written all over her face. Steve was surprised that she would be jealous of him talking to another woman; he wasn't even hitting on her. Though it was apparent that the interior designer was throwing herself at him, he wasn't interested in her; she wasn't even his type. 

As he studied Joan's face, he began to question if she would be able to go through with her decision about them having an open marriage. As he continued to look at her, the expression on her face made a soft chuckle escape his lips.

"What is so funny?" Joan asked him, still not looking too happy with him. She knew it was none of her business if he had a thing for the interior designer, but she couldn't seem to help herself.

"Are you sure you really want us to go on with this open marriage thing?" Steve asked in a lazy voice with a smirk on his face.
