Chapter 2: The Land of No Return

The bright light that cane seem to fade and i slowly open my eyes only to see pitch black darkness.

I quickly tried to feel out surrounding. there didn't seem to be any walls near me i looked around a bit till a fant light in the distance began to shine.

"well thats something" i said to myself

I began to try to walk to the strange light. Nothing seems to hinder my approach and as i get closer the light get brighter

"So I'm going to a light... am i dead?" these thoughts start to fill my head as i get closer.

"I don't feel dead. if im dead my parents are going to kill me." i hoped that lame joke would help me ease up. it didn't. On this i soon realized that the light was more of a purple hue

Eventually I reached the source of a light. The light came from what seems to be a thin rectangle about two stories tall and 12 ft wide of swirling energy. i walked around the the weird object to confirm the thinness of the object. Thats when something clicked. I've seen this thing before.

I stopped to collect my thoughts and all lead to the same thing. "This was the portal from cinematic" I concluded "but thats in possible, it this must be a dream or maybe I am dead." I pinched myself on the cheek to test this theory.

"Ow "

Not a dream, but i was still in disbelief. i look around into the dark. Their didn't seem to anywhere else to go and I didn't feel like testing my luck in Wondering the void. I turned around back at the portal. if it leads were i think it leads who knows what will happen to me but it seems alot better then sticking around here.

I cautiously approach the portal, the swirls of energy from the portal seem almost hypnotic flowing in odd ways kinda like a body of water. Before i walk though I decided to test it first by poking my index finger though it. As I do the portal ripple around the finger. It felt like going though warm water. it felt almost welcoming . I pulled out my finger from the portal. there was no residue, no trace showing that i touch the thing. After test was safe I took one look into the void before taking a deep breath and walking though the portal
