Water-Bending Heroine (1)

It was a boring day, it had been 3 months since Emma's death, Fenikk was mourning the death of Emma, as we all were. But life without Emma had really brought the whole group down, I decided to try alien hunting, to see why people enjoyed it.

"Suit up! You know this sport isn't child's play, you slack off you die! You die we leave your body to rot!" Screamed Janice, a big girl with a rough personality, she was second command in the hunting group.

"Now now, Janice, no need to be so tense, we love everyone here equally, and WILL risk our lives for them" Said first in command, Alayah.

After her comment, I felt determined to start the journey.

To my surprise, the others arrived, suited up and everything.

"Hey guys!" I shouted as I ran towards them.

I high fived Reine, fist bumped Vincent, shook Leo's hand, and as I tried to give Jake a pat on the back, he looked at me, his eyes were red, and under them was more grey than dust.

Emma's death took the biggest toll on him, and very soon, he was going to die for it. 

Alien hunting was like nothing I'd ever done, it was hard, and horrible.

Jake went on his own, but me Vincent, Reine, and Leo stuck together.

We got used to it, until we were on our way out, and saw a bigger alien than we ever saw before.

It was no use, not even Vincent, and Reine our main fighters could take that thing out. I took a hit to the stomach, and my vision was fading.

I was about to pass out, until a huge serpent dragon, made of water, engulfed the alien.

Water was their weakness! And it seemed like Alayah, was our Water-Bending Heroine. I passed out, with the last thing I saw being Alayah defeating the alien. She protected us. And something about her, made me feel a comforting, feeling. Like I felt with Emma.
