Suspicions

"Sir Leo asked you to escort us?" Carter said with some suspicion since not only her, but the others too since the group before them seemed like a ragtag group that was formed on a whim.

Trejo noticed the looks being thrown at them, so he quickly explained, "Don't give us those looks, and those people behind me are also in the same position as you guys. They also wanted to be integrated into our group"

"Don't you know them?" Trejo continued since he noticed that the group they were picking up on the way seemed to be a really big community of survivors.

"We know them, they're a group of survivors led by a person named Rick" the colonel answered.

Hearing his name getting brought up, Rick, who was standing just a few feet behind Trejo turned his head towards the colonel and gave him an acknowledging nod.

Trejo nodded at that before turning his attention towards the survivors watching them from afar, "Is this all of you?"
