[Momonga POV]
"Why do they all think so highly of me?" They must have me mistaken for someone else. As he was listening to them talk he'd wanted to laugh and point out their errors. "Ah-ha-ha-ha," he chuckled dryly and then shook his head—the looks on their faces and the mood in the room had told him they weren't joking.
In other words, they'd been completely serious.
If he didn't live up to their appraisal, they might be disappointed. The more he thought about it, the weaker he felt. And there was one other problem.
Remembering it made him wince so hard it seemed like it would show on his skull. "What should I do about Albedo? I can't face Tabula like this..."
Albedo's emotions were a much larger problem, as they were a result of his own actions. He could already feel Tabula's disappointment. Then there was also him.
"Sukuna… huh" he thought out loud.
'That guy is definitely the most dangerous, him and shalltear are the ones I know the most about, besides… that one.I know that if he finds out, it'll be super bad. Why did we have to give him such an intense background?!?!?'
Momonga regretted being the one who decided to type in that impossibly negative karma value using the Ouroboros stone, so that it would fit his background better.
'In any case, I better keep my act up!'

[3rd person POV]
'Such a ridiculous individual.' thought Demiurge. He knew little of Sukuna, only having met him for the first time today, only hearing information about him from his creator Ulbert before, but he seemed to live up to the rumours. Overwhelming strength, such that it could be called the pinnacle of Nazarick.
"STRONG." was the only word Cocytus spoke.
"Yeah, if not for Momonga-sama, that would've been the worst thing I'd ever experienced!" said Aura.
"More importantly, Albedo, could you give us some orders maybe? We've got a lot of things that need to get moving."
'Truly, that man is extremely unpleasant as always…' Albedo thought, secretly holding a grudge.
"Yes. Yes, you're right. I need to give orders. Shalltear, let's discuss this further at a future date. I'm sure it will take more time than we have now, anyway."
"I have no objections, Albedo. There's nothing that will take us so long to discuss as this."
"Okay. Very well, I'll come up with our plan going forward." Albedo had put on her captain of the floor guardians face, and all the guardians responded by bowing their heads in respect. Of course Sukuna had long left to complete his own tasks by now( an excuse to run away), leaving just the guardians.
"First..."

'What the hell! Why the fuck did it have to be me!! And of all of the places to reincarnate its the fucking overlord verse!!' I thought.
Now usually, being isekai-ed is a blessing especially for a nerd like himself, but this a stellar example of being careful what you wish for. Sure this world may not have a lot of end of the world, characters that can blow up planets for fun or shit like that, but that doesn't mean it wasnt fucking tragic! I mean after a certain point in the story it is just three back to back genocides. Definitely not something a normal guy like him who's never even seen an injury worse than a bruise can handle.
'I gotta see if I can do something about it.' I thought. Luckily, the NPCs seem to listen to me to an extent.
'First, I needed to get out of here.' I decided. The longer I stayed here, the more attention I would attract. And needless to say that would not be good. As soon as Momonga or should I say Ainz decides to become an adventurer, I must somehow accompany him.
Then while he gets bust with the plot, I'll just explore the world, see if there's a world item or something that can get me out of here. Failing that, I have to find a way to make sure all those people don't die. My conscience won't allow a genocide on my watch.
Next, I'll have to master whatever powers this body has in case they ever find out my secret. Although this is nearly impossible, Imean look at the original, for being as smart as they are, they can be dumb as bricks when it concerns people they like. Still I won't take any chances. I'll get super strong so I can at least escape alive if they decide that I am an imposter that needs to be dealt with.
Lastly, I will make a shit ton of money. If I ever have to run away, I'll need funds to do it. I can do so while posing as an adventurer. But I'll need to be careful, if albedo or someone realises that I am saving up money without their knowledge, they could get suspicious, blowing my entire plan wide open. That should be all the planning for now, I should get to doing what I was told. Inspect the eighth floor and talk to Aureole Omega about opening the seal.
'Let's hope nothing bad happens.' I wished from the bottom of my heart, before walking along.

A party of about fifty riders galloped across a grassy plain. All of them were equally brawny, but one stood out from all the rest. Robust was the word that best fit him. He seemed to be their leader.
The rider next to him spoke. "Captain, we've almost reached the first village on our patrol."
"Yes, it seems that way, Vice-Captain."
This was Gazef Stronoff, pride of the Re-Estize Kingdom and captain of its guard. He had been ordered to find the imperial knights spotted near the kingdom's border and subdue them. Although the intel they received was shady at best, it was always better to be safe than sorry.
"But I really hope it's nothing..." The vice-captain spoke again. His voice betrayed his anxiety, and Gazef felt the same.
